Homely and within easy reach of tram and Heaton Park.
Bed soft for us (personal choice) and towels could have been bigger, definitely not enough to put us off returning in the future.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the hotel lobby was cozy and warm and the free parking was a great extra for our case. On a 10 mins walk you have a train line to the city or a bus stop which makes it easy access to the centre.
The room was smaller than expected and the walls between the rooms very thin, you could hear everything from the other's rooms. The sink has separate taps for hot and cold water (old UK style), which was very inconvenient to use. Half an hour before checkout someone tried to open the room door and go in without any knocking or announcing what the intent was, so I do not know if this was the cleaning staff or just other guests trying their odds to steal. There was only one power socket next to the bed, so only one person could charge their device at a time.

Great location for us - just under 10 minute walk away from the Metrolink, really easy to locate. Also bus stop (number 59 bus) a minute away takes you into the city centre. Lovely clean rooms, really comfy beds. Room a good size - had a twin room, plenty of space to move around, had everything we needed for a comfy stay. Staff very friendly and kept us topped up with teabags, coffee etc when we ran out in the room!! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Brilliant choices for breakfast with ample options for my son who is vegetarian. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and welcoming with plenty of storage options if needed. A car is not essential as the West Lynne Hotel is only 10/15 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop at Crumpsall (yellow or green lines) into the city centre or to Bury.
We didn't find anything to disappoint us during our short stay.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. This was a convenient location as I was visiting a friend in the area.
Just an fyi, there is no elevator for those of you out there that may have an issue with stairs
