It was ok - I guess it was fair value for money.
Room was cold and AC unit wouldn't heat - I was told they were on "summer energy" or something - bit frustrating as the temp had dropped and it was 7⁰c outside. I think I should be able to determine how warm my room is.
Breakfast pretty ok for £12. Room fine. Bed comfy. Not enough plug sockets in room. Bathroom ok but a bit dated, caulking messy. Sink taps limited in flow rate.
Great location though. Shame that the reception is so underwhelming and requires you to go up a flight of steps.

The bed was really comfortable and the room was immaculately clean.
The location was also perfect as we were attending a gig at the AO Arena.
Check out was 11am too which was nice.

Booked the hotel because we travelled up North to see Peter Kay. Hotel was in a good, safe location. Even without sharing a triple room with my parents I would have happily stayed there by myself. Room was very clean, bedding comfortable with a range of different pillows. Breakfast was a buffet style breakfast which was fairly good but would have liked more options for those that don’t eat meat and a better fruit bowl with natural yoghurt. Hotel staff, all were very helpful.
The only negative I feel which is easily corrected was the fairly poor options on the drink tray in the bedroom. Cheap Nescafé sachet, no decaf options for tea nor herbal options for those that don’t drink caffeine. Would have been nice to have had a bottle of water with room.l too. Had to go out and buy a large option from Tesco, though I’m sure I could have purchased one from the bar!

Room - was good and spacious.
Bathroom - generally clean, except the shower.
Breakfast - Nothing good to say
Location - great if using public transport or have a different space booked in for parking, we were there to settle my daughter at Uni, so parked in a car park near there and took a taxi to hotel.
Room - negative point, no fridge or any water, recommend providing water to guests

Breakfast - Poor value for money, not great quality nor great selection.

It was lovely and clean and we got a warm welcome as soon as we entered. Rooms were a great size and the bed was SO comfortable. Breakfast was nice, we would have loved to have seen a fried egg.
It was noisy outside and you could hear everything from our room. So although the bed was comfy we had an interrupted sleep.
