The hotel has a fantastic location, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming
The room was quite noisy due to other guests, and we were only provided with one set of towels. The hot buffet breakfast was underwhelming, with the food not tasting particularly fresh.

Great location & very helpful staff & feels safe for solo female tourists
The room didn't get warm and was cold. Also, when I tried to turn on the heater, I encountered an extraordinary amount of dust. It can be difficult to warm up, especially in the winter.

Breakfast was very nice. Well laid out. Could do with a bit more of vegetarian options. There were hash browns, tomatoes, boiled eggs and baked beans. Would have been nice if they had veg sausages, plum tomatoes etc.
Not enough veg options. The sink in the bathroom was small and should have been bigger in the double room I was upgraded to.

Location and bed was comfortable
First impressions are important and the front desk staff need to understand this. We arrived at midday having an early check-in confirmed with the payment added to our account. We approached the desk and told, without a hello or welcome, that check-in was 3pm. When told of an early check-in he said that it was a request and that we had not paid for it! Then he checked his computer and, without apology, checked us in.
Breakfast was poor…hot food was warm. Scrambled egg was the instant type and was awful! When asked if there was call orders for eggs was told no…reason was it was too busy!?
This hotel, with one exception, lacked staff with a smile or with an intention to offer decent customer service.
Our room had a connecting door and was occupied by persons seemingly celebrating something. The noise was loud. Reception was indifferent to my issue but did offer reluctantly a room move which we declined. To be fair, as it turned out, our fellow guests were not much of an issue when nighttime came. Next morning, the same reception staff member was on duty..he looked right through me and not a mention or enquiry as to how my night went! This is poor and shows no passion for good customer service.
The one ray of light was Jahmiah, I think a trainee, who really was pleasant and very customer orientated. Without him this review would be a lot worse.
