Lovely decor with great bar and restaurant in an excellent city centre location. The double bedroom on the first floor had a warm clean homely feel with a very comfortable double bed with good amenities in both the bedroom and bathroom. Excellent service from staff especially from reception staff who transferred me the next morning to another room due to excessive noise in my first room without any problems.
On my first night my double bedroom was on the fourth floor. The air conditioning/heating in the ceiling made so much noise I had to keep getting up throughout the night to turn it off. Added frustration from more noise from what I believe was air conditioning units outside on the roof space causing additional noise throughout the night. Obviously very little sleep first night. The room also felt a little drab.

The breakfast was lovely and offered a very good selection of options. Additionally, the staff were friendly and took great care of us. I had requested a twin room for my son and me, and we were pleased to find that we each had a double bed. The beds were very comfortable and ensured a great night's sleep.
Unfortunately, the occupants in the neighboring room were quite noisy during my stay, which impacted my experience. I wanted to bring this to your attention so it can be addressed for future guests.

I loved the traditional architecture and staff were so accommodating with every need. The room was lovely and had a wonderful view which didn’t hurt! Breakfast was lovely with a vast variety of options and exceptional service. It also had a games area which was a fun way to relax after a long day. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and roughly a 15 minute walk to city centre, which was convenient for us as we were planning to walk through the city and this was a great way to do that. It’s a great location if you want somewhere that can help you explore the city and get a feel for Manchester. Would definitely recommend to stay and hope you have a wonderful experience!!

Wonderfully furnished and spotlessly clean, the staff are very attentive. We ate at the restaurant which was delicious one evening
