I like the location of the hotel, the amenities , the Elmis products in the room. We got an upgraded room which was a suit room 548 - loved it! The lady at checkin was warm, friendly and was just so attentive - her name was Fiji / Fifi ( she was so kind and went over and above to help us) big credit to the hotel staff team!
The carpet in the room was stained - there were kids on the table behind me on the bar that had been smoking weed and were causing a bit of commotion. The police came to the hotel and security resolved this very prompt. Which was good that it resolved quickly but was a bit disruptive to start

Hot towel rail didn’t work . Heating couldn’t be adjusted so cool first night . Couldn’t empty water in the bath on first day so had to tell customer relations

Really slow service in the bar. Very limited selection of wines by the glass - more like what I’d expect to see in a local pub than an iconic hotel

Friendly staff, a lovely room with high ceilings, a very comfortable bed and excellent shower, a wonderful spa and a nice bar.
Two small points could have been better. It was impossible to change the aircon settings and the room felt quite stuffy when I first arrived. And there could have been a wider choice of fresh fruits, yoghurt, cold savoury foods at breakfast.

It never fails its simply the best hotel in Manchester
The staff are unbelievable everyone likes to be helpful and it seems to be a place were everyone gets on .
We got talking to a wonderful waitress in the restaurant on Friday evening and she said shes never enjoyed working anywhere as much as the Midland she helped us choose our deserts based on the fact that she had tasted everything on the menu when the new menu was introduced.
We listen and how right she was
Nicole is a great example of why we continue to visit the Midland
The bar staff are also great and guest relations are just very very helpful
5 star all the way
If you do see this book a table in the Mount Street restaurant and try the beef daube it was the best beef I've ever eaten

Staff were very friendly, especially the concierge as you walk through the doors.
Rooms were lovely, spacious and clean.
Spa is a little dated and small, and not very many places to sit by the pool. Pool is nice and clean.
