Immaculate suite, clean facilities, guest pass for the spa was welcome and staff were excellent.
No robe provided. A breakfast tray was left outside the room which was still there at 7pm in the evening.

There was extremely loud and disruptive noise coming from outside my room, resembling someone emptying a large container of glass. This persisted from around 04:30 to 06:00 in the morning, making it impossible to get any rest.

Beautiful hotel, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff, made my solo birthday trip special with cakes in my room, I even got complimentary late check out. Breakfast is quality… and their bar (Madeleine) had a nice welcoming atmosphere…. Excellent!

Beautiful hotel and lobby
I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday and wanted it to be special. I was keen to also try the spa. The hotel was disappointing before even arriving. When I called and contacted in advance, staff were very unhelpful in regards to booking the spa and told me to book on arrival but it may be full- I explained that's why I'm booking in advance to ensure we have a slot- as you can imagine, there was no availability when we arrived. I asked the staff to make the stay special - this was ignored and nothing was done. The first time we have stayed in a hotel and no effort was made. We checked into our room and it was boiling hot and the fan was on. I was surprised given that there was AC. We phoned the lobby and were told that it takes 30 minutes for it to work. The first time I've heard of that. In this hot weather we were boiling and couldn't sleep- the room was set at 30.3 and we we're tired and needed sleep. Instead we were up for 4 hours and phoned again to be told there are no rooms to move us to. Then, somehow another room became available so we had to move our belongings in the middle of the night at 2am. This room had AC so it was clear we were lied to previously in the other. We now had been up for 6 hours and we asked for a later checkout to catch up on sleep. We were told 2pm we can checkout instead of 11. We were then woken up with a phone call at 11.30am asking why we hadn't checked out- the man in the night did not inform the staff or make a note like he said he would. On top of that, we had to cancel our breakfast reservation to the disturbance in the night and it ruined my husbands birthday. The staff were not very helpful. In addition, 1 bottle of still water in a room of 2 is unacceptable. No dressing gowns. No fridge in the room. It is more style over substance. I am highly disappointed by my stay.

The room could do with a bit more cleaning, where the bed it is around the mirrors frem its dusty. The tele didn't work because of the chromecast.

Comfortable room with a/c which in the heat wave was a bonus. bed very comfortable. Great selection at breakfast, the handmade omelettes were suberb. NCP car park was close by so parking wasn't an issue. Had a visit to the spa which was comfortable and had a lovely pool.
mini bar didn't appear to work but we didn't report it so can't really complain.
