The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialing extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor. Super hotel in Manchester City centre. Fabulous entrance - a vintage Rolls Royce parked outside - and a beautiful lobby and lounge. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely wide and well-carpeted corridors make the hotel feel very luxurious and quiet. My standard room was very well-equipped and comfortable. Super beds and bathrooms. A lovely stay, even if just for one night.
There is no parking at the hotel but a special rate is offered at a public car park about 10-15 minutes walk away. There is a more expensive car park nearer to the hotel, where I think I will park next time.

Olde worlde character. Friendly staff. A great cooked breakfast. Comfortable room. Reasonably convenient location. Clean bathroom. Effective and necessary aircon.
Location is not so good if you’re driving due to roads and lack of car parking. Very disappointing that there was no residents bar where we could celebrate the end of a big birthday party together before heading to bed.

We've stayed in the Midland a good few times now and although the building and the facilities are excellent, the main reason we continue to return is the staff. They are incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Such a great experience here yet again, we will be back
There's nothing that we didn't like, we had a slight issue with the air-conditioning in the room, but the staff we're very apologetic and did absolutely everything they could to rectify the issue, brilliant customer service as usual

I booked through booking.com but was then able to ask for an accessible bathroom. I had a prompt response back saying an accessible room had been booked. The room was amazing and well thought out. I felt safe in the bathroom as I have been known to slip. I also accidentally pulled the red cord but staff were great and it was nice to know I could get help if I needed it. All staff were so friendly. The bed was soooo comfortable and air con was a luxury in the heatwave! We visited the beautiful spa, I was impressed with hos clean and well kept it was. The hotel is near to everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting in the main atrium with the trees.
