Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. I think some soft drinks in the room would have been great. £280 for the night a locked mini bar and no water. The bathroom hand held over bath not good enough

The building exterior look and location. The staff members are pleasant and helpful.
We stayed in superior king room for two nights and paid £576. The deco is dated and the carpet and rooms are dusty with visible marks and need a deep cleaning throughout. Please see photos. The bathroom vent is very dusty and things need to be fixed in the bathroom such as tower hangers. The fridge is not working. Lots of room for improvement.
