The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). Location. The bar is excellent. Such a nice atmosphere and great cocktails.
The bedding was really heavy. Not able to open windows. Air conditioning unit was not that easy to figure out. Lots of street noise early night.

The building is gorgeous. The rooms are comfortable and spacious (I booked a twin room), and are of a very high quality. The staff were friendly and the entire experience was very enjoyable. Will definitely be staying again.
The lack of parking, but there are a number of secure parking facilities nearby.

Usual comfort.
When they host events they are useless. That becomes their only focus and they seem to forget other guests are there. There were cameras and ‘camera’ people running around with seemingly full reign on who and where they could go. Guests were not managed and there was one member of staff available on the desk.

Lovely staff very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was superb. Comfortable room and felt very relaxed.
I would have loved a treatment but didn't really have time and felt they were quite expensive. Some 20 minute / Half hour options would have been nice.

Great location and overall state of the building
Aircon was broken and the staff couldn’t fix it so they brought us a fan instead. Overall rooms and fixtures were quite old
