The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialing extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor. From check-in with Jared who resolved a mobile phone issue, to Paul Fawkes and his efficient team working the bar, to the layout and choice at breakfast, everything was smooth, relaxed, and efficient. A beautiful building with efficient, hard working staff. Located beside the intersection of all the tram routes, so convenient for many venues.
There was nothing that I could fault. Everything was slick.

We always try and stay at the midland , we love the location and the hotel, we do think it’s needs some tlc here and there but it’s always nice to stay
Some of the ceiling and window architrave was damp and un slightly in the breakfast room and grouting around shower could be refreshed

location was ideal and the initial walking into the hotel was grand and gave you the wow, the staff were lovely and very helpful. Unfortunately the room and facilities were so disappointing
Bed was infact two beds pushed together, soo uncomfortable, bathroom was tiny and the shower was not powerful enough to wash my hair. For the money we paid plus the added expense of parking I have stayed in hotels 5 times better at the same cost there was nothing ‘superior’ about our room at all.

A very warm and helpful welcome even though they were busy. Lovely room. Super clean and comfortable. Room service very efficient and lovely food. Spa amazing.
Not the hotels fault and they responded super quickly but a couple of guests were taking videos in the swimming pool and in the dining room. I didn’t want to be on anybody’s videos even in error - I just found it a bit intrusive. The hotel staff responded super fast to have a word with the guests and I know it’s a beautiful hotel so it’s difficult to stop.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Midland hotel , from the minute we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful , they stored our luggage whilst we waited for our room. The room was very comfortable & breakfast the following morning was great with lots of choice. Special thank you to Jade who helped to organise additional extras for the room, we look forward to a return visit☺️
