The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialing extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor. Location and the friendly staff. Complimentary water and herbal teas. Comfy beds Parking at front of hotel.
The fridge in our first room pulled out the cupboard everytime you opened the door, but worked and drinks were chilled. Our son and daughters room, similar problem with the fridge mocing about and didn't work, nothing was chilled, just room temp, same problem in our upgraded room.

Absolute stunning hotel!! Room was perfect and spacious for us 4 women!! Lovely complimentary bottled water for us all and tea/coffee and biscuits. Great location lovely spa which you get 1hour free access whilst you stay (I do think this should be increased) Food was really nice although a-bit on the pricey side
The table service when we went for some tea before 5pm and not in the restaurant was really poor we had to ask to order drinks and then to order food and no1 came over to greet us

Amazing hotel with true nostalgic charm, grand foyer and entrance to reception and it doesn’t change throughout hotel. Also food in cocktail bar was amazing!

Hotel was beautiful. Ideal location close to city centre shopping, car park and train/tram links. Staff were lovely. Room was comfortable apart from the problem with air con in our room. Staff were very apologetic and did offer complimentary breakfast and a discount to compensate. Would definitely stay there again
Only problem was the air con not working and it was a very hot day/night in June. A fan was provided.
