The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialing extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor. The Midland is less than 1312 feet from Bridgewater Hall, the Palace Theater and Manchester Central Exhibition and Conference Center. The city's shops and bars are a 10-minute walk away. Due to essential Maintenance works from the 1st December for approximately 5 - 7 days, there will be no thermal access (relaxation pool jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, experience shower) to all of our Spa facilities. Spa treatments (for purchased packages) and gym access will be operating as normal.

Always our go to hotel when we stay in Manchester. Great staff, clean, central location, good bar and restaurant. When you walk in it always smells so lovely.

The hotel was absolutely amazing and would highly recommend it. The spa was amazing and love how the 50 minutes session was included in your stay. The room was gorgeous with everything we needed.
Cost of breakfast was too high so unfortunately we did not purchase breakfast.

The location was excellent, the decor and general feel was opulent and very up market, it was an ideal place to spend a special occasion! Staff were professional and friendly and communicated really promptly when i was arranging extras for the room. The bar had a fantastic choice of drinks available and again the staff were very helpful. The room itself was stunning, very clean, incredibly comfortable and had the benefit of dual zone heating for the lounge and bedroom area so you could control the temperatures!

Our room was in the first floor, it has been very loud because of the tram. Our Bathroom was not new not old, the toilet seat was too small for the size of toilet, couldn’t close the bathroom door, air conditioning was very loud, strange smell on the floors and in the room. Great central location for Manchester with good facilities. Customer service from staff was excellent. Breakfast was amazing
Property is very old and historic. Initially given a poor quality room 540 with tired decor and furniture. Some of the rooms need attention. Room issue was raised and I was moved which was excellent customer service. Disappointed that some rooms are still on sale to public despite being a 5 star hotel.
