The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialing extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor. We are relatively regular guests at The Midland but this particular stay was exceptional. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. The shower was fantastic. One noticeable improvement in the offering over our last few visits was the vastly improved service in the bar area.

The hotel was spotless, gorgeous hotel and impressive from the foyer to the bar to the bedrooms. Lovely friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble.

Location is perfect to city centre. Beautiful building and facilities
Staff are quite rude on entry. I did not like the recent policy change to pay an additional £10pp to use the Spa. The change was not communicated either until I asked. The entire stay, the AC was blasting in our room. I called reception at least 4 times and the temp did not change once. Breakfast was ok, I had higher hopes when staying and I dont think those were met at all.

We arrived early and room wasnt ready, we sat in the lounge and had a few drinks. We checked in, our room was beautiful, had everything we needed even a Nespresso Coffee Machine .. we ordered room service and was delivered very quickly. Breakfast was lovely, greeted by a lovely gent, staff friendly. We used the spa very clean, nice pool. We had an amazing time and will be returning.
