The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. The Midland is less than 1312 feet from Bridgewater Hall, the Palace Theater and Manchester Central Exhibition and Conference Center. The city's shops and bars are a 10-minute walk away. All Spa visits must be pre-booked and paid for in advance via the secure link provided in your confirmation email prior to arrival and are subject to availability. We kindly recommend reserving ahead of arrival, as on-the-day bookings may not be available. Spa access is priced at £10 per adult, with children swimming complimentary, subject to a booking on availability. This includes strictly 1 hour access to the thermal suite, featuring the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and thermal shower. Lockers are available for your convenience. Please note all payments are nonrefundable. For guests arriving with children, swimming hours are limited to 7:30am – 9:00am and 5:30pm – 7:00pm daily. Guests under 18 are not permitted to use the pool outside of these times, and must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Please note the Gymnasium is available to use upon arrival and does not require a pre-booking with us.

Breakfast was ordered to the room which was fab. Extra towels provided and warm towel rail in bathroom was lovely. Hotel was spotless with excellent location while attending a show in Albert hall. There was an uber portal iPad available in reception which was very handy for a trip to the Trafford.

We love staying at the midland it’s a gorgeous hotel in a great location. The staff are great
Unfortunately we came to stay for a relaxed weekend but we couldn’t watch tv comfortably. The chrome cast to connect your phone wouldn’t work and they had to get another one which also didn’t work, maintenance were supposed to come the following morning and didn’t arrive. Then watching normal tv narration was turned on and no one knew how to take this off, they then had to switch the tvs which was a lot smaller. We did wait a while for anyone to arrive if we didn’t come for a relaxing weekend it wouldn’t have affected us but this wasn’t the case and unfortunately no compensation was offered

All the staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was to much trouble. We had a lovely time celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and our 10th wedding anniversary.
