The Midland is an award-winning, 4-star luxury hotel with a spa in Manchester city center. It offers stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Providing a fine dining experience, Adam Reid at The French has won 4 AA Rosettes. The bespoke menus offer creative dishes, which are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce where possible. Lounge & Champagne bar offers an extensive drinks menu with exciting cocktails, fine wines and local beers. Open seven days a week, guests can also enjoy a selection of light meals from our breakfast, lunch and evening menu. Traditional afternoon tea is available in the Tea Room at The Midland. Hotel guests can make use of The Rena Spa At The Midland's relaxation pool and thermal areas, for an extra charge. The Rena spa includes the aromatherapy steam room, beautiful Alder-Wood sauna and refreshing Arctic rain shower. As a hotel resident, you can book 1-hours complimentary use of our award-winning Rena Spa (subject to availability). A booking is required to access the spa, which can be made by dialing extension 25 or visiting the spa on the lower ground floor. The Midland is a perfect location, the reception and ground floor is so warm and welcoming, staff friendly and helpful & everything trimmed up for Christmas. We've never used the spa before, so that was enjoyable, small but perfectly formed.
We did sense a smell of dead mouse in the bedroom corridor and heard them in the night - it's an old building so we appreciate that this is not a sign of anything unusual.
