This contemporary property offers on-site car parking for a small fee and a restaurant serving breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was great for a concert we were attending in the AO Arena. In the lobby area there was free tea, coffee & hot chocolate for guests. There was also a decent selection of bottled drinks and sweet & savoury options to purchase.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They accommodated all of our requests and made us feel very welcome. The location is also convenient: although it is not right in the city centre, it is close enough to reach the main areas of Manchester, such as Deansgate, in around 20 minutes.
We were genuinely shocked by the condition of this hotel. Considering that it is advertised as a four-star property and charges rates consistent with that category, the level of cleanliness and maintenance was completely unacceptable. The most striking issue was the cleanliness. The carpets throughout the hotel, including in our room, were heavily stained and appeared dirty and neglected. The overall impression was one of poor hygiene and a lack of basic upkeep, which made our stay extremely unpleasant. To make matters worse, our room was never serviced during our stay and no housekeeping was provided at any point. For a hotel claiming to offer four-star standards, this is simply unacceptable. The room itself had several maintenance issues. The hairdryer was not working properly, the curtains failed to block out the morning light, and because our room was located on the first floor, traffic noise and disturbances from outside could be heard very clearly. What was particularly surprising was the general state of neglect throughout the property. At one point, we even noticed a shoe hanging from the ceiling, which perfectly reflected the lack of attention given to the hotel’s maintenance and presentation (photos attached). We left feeling extremely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
