Great location and really easy to find straight off the motorway. Parking was easy and the staff were all very professional - kindly refunding my parking and food for the inconvenience/issues with my stay.
Unfortunately this hotel really misses the mark and I won’t be returning. I have never slept on a mattress as uncomfortable as the one provided. It was so bad that I carried the sofa bed mattress (which was covered in stains) up at 2 am to layer it on top of the main bed mattress. The mezzanine rooms are a fantastic concept but they are poorly executed with terrible room-room insulation (I could hear the people next door breathing) and zero insulation in the roof so you have the roaring sound of the busy road, train line and flight path all through the night. There is also no a/c or windows at mezzanine height and as heat rises the top floor is absolutely roasting. The final straw was the loud cracks and bangs the building makes throughout the night, it was so loud that when I did finally fall asleep on my princess and the pea - aptly replaced by pointy springs - inspired bed I would be startled awake by noises of things moving and adjusting around the building. There was litter next to the bed side where cleaners had failed to hoover straw wrappers and the carpet was in need of a good deep clean. The sofa bed had scuff marks all over it and was equally unappealing. I’m not sure how this hotel has achieved a four star rating in truth, it’s tired and in need of far better furniture. Amenities were minimal and the shower room was equally lacking with just some wall mounted soaps, similar to most low end chain hotels. I’m grateful to the staff for taking my comments seriously, however, it didn’t improve my mood enough to want to return to this hotel.

Our room was very spacious indeed with a comfortable bed. Location was good with a 15-20min walk for us to where we wanted to get to. Considering the traffic outside, you wouldn't have known it as it was quiet in our room and we slept well. Breakfast was really nice, with hot breakfast, pastries, cereals and fruit available. All the staff were really welcoming and friendly. For those rooms with the small kitchen area they had food available to purchase in the lobby such as ready meals and pizza.
There was a bit of a smell from the drain in the bathroom.
