Good
Free laundry and big room
There was a club near that played heavy base, ear jarring, until 2am

Lovely hotel with lovely staff ! I booked the room with windows and waking up to sunshine made my day. Clean facilities and housekeeping. Good nourishing breakfast. Lovely hostess Julie ?? , on my last day she wished me well with a farewell card. I recommend Ainscow hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in Salford, lovely coffee shops, restaurants and amenities around along with Salford railway station. I have attached a few photos of the views from my room window. Thank you lovely staff at Ainscow hotel ?

Very Poor
Very little to like. I can't find a real plus.
The receptionist - perfect.
Kitchen staff - great.
Breakfast had nice canned pineapple and beans.
Shower broken and bathroom had black mould
Filthy carpets in the room and corridors
Parking situation misleading and barely acceptable
Initially given a room much smaller than the ~260 sq ft Deluxe Double booked; had to request the correct room
Hotel’s response via Booking.com was defensive, not helpful
Overall condition of hotel feels neglected, unhygienic, and misdescribed
Noisy guests, had to complain at 2am
Mattress very poor quality, springs can be felt
Double glazing broken, sound from outside very loud
Bathtub too high and unsafe, slipped getting out and injured
Carpets sticky in places and dusty
Tops of doors filthy and packed with dust
Iron leaking water and limescale, ruined clothing
Ironing board filthy, transferred dirt onto clothes
TV unplugged and inaccessible, could not use it
Radiators not working, no thermostat available
No soap in mezzanine toilet
Floors uneven and feel unsafe
Dried blood on mattress protector
Human waste on mattress under it.
Extreme levels of filth under the bed - extreme.
Mould in sink.

Good
The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is relatively large.
The location is a little too far to the train station. It takes 25 minutes to walk to Manchester Oxford Road train station.

I had booked for a surprise weekend for my partners birthday, they had decorated the room so beautifully with birthday decorations and cake! We got a surprise upgrade which was perfect I didn't expect it but it made it perfect
Just the lack of air conditioning but other than that everything was perfect

Wonderful
The man at reception, Ethan I believe his name was? He was wonderful, so friendly and catering to our needs! The room was clean and looked very freshly refurbished. I like that there was a laundry room on site for guests too!
The location wasn't ideal, there were so many road works going on around the area at the time which made it difficult to navigate coming to and from the hotel by taxi and I know this isn't by fault of the hotel itself. I did however feel that based on how much I paid, it would have been better for me to book a hotel closer to Picidily as I had to book a lot of taxis. Again, I can't fault the hotel for this, but it just was not ideal for myself.

Wonderful
The price and the room - good value for money
Location - in a dark area, wouldn't necessarily recommend the hotel to a single female as the walk to it isn't well lit

Pleasant
Nice location, the staff were absolutely excellent.
Paid for a Large Double Mezzanine Room. When we got there, the room that we were meant to be in for some reason wasn’t available (no problem at all, another room was arranged for us). The room we were then given then seemed to have not been cleaned (eg carpet was not clean at all, don’t think it had been hoovered). We then told the member of staff in reception (who was exceptional - very polite), and she gave us the option of another room but the room wasn’t a mezzanine room. This new room was much better - comfy, clean etc. But we essentially then ended up paying Mezzanine price for a cheaper room. Wasn’t the end of the world and the stay was pleasant, just not ideal as we were looking forward to having a Mezzanine room.

Good
The room was spacious and fit for what we needed for our short stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff at check in and throughout the stay were really friendly. Location is perfect for exploring Manchester, and was easy to drive to.
There was no window in our hotel room which made it feel a little claustrophobic. The bath was also quite high up - getting in was fine, however getting out after a shower was a bit tricky and my sister slipped and managed to bruise the back of her leg.
