Poor
The location was good for where we wanted to be near. It was clean and the staff were friendly.
The mezzanine room seemed a little tired. The sofa was very uncomfortable. The main issue was the noise. On the first night, the traffic noise was loud (like having a window open) but we were able to sleep. On the Friday night, I wasn’t able to sleep until the nightclub across the road closed at 4am. There needs to be soundproofing as it’s impossible to sleep withe the noise of the nightclub. It was so loud.

Very Poor
Walls are extremely thin meaning we had to hear other people’s personal time which is not acceptable and unfortunately resulted into us not getting any sleep at all

Pleasant
The room size was very generous, the facilities in the room were great too for a standard room,it had a little kitchenette and tea and coffee. It had a separate toilet and bathroom which is a plus. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. It’s a great location to the city centre and anywhere else central. Nice coffee shops etc near by.
It was hot and dry, and there wasn’t any air con to regulate the temperature of the room. The bed wasn’t very comfortable either and the pillows were quite thin. The light switches by the bed one of them didn’t work, the room needs a little TLC, and there was always rubbish bags in the hallway, or an open service room. The breakfast had decent choices but the quality of the cooked breakfast could be improved by choosing better ingredients (mainly sausage and has browns)

Good
Great location. Young man behind reception very welcoming and friendly.
Air con didn’t work. Room was extremely hot and no windows. There was also provided a hairdryer, iron and kettle, but lack of plug sockets to use them. Had to use the plug behind the bedside table.

Very Good
It was warm when I arrived which was great. Well equipped unit. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff.
The cleanliness could’ve been better - toilet seat, etc. The noise - being so near to the train station, if you can sleep through it, it’s fine. The plug sockets are many, but not a single one had a USB or CType socket.

Fair
The hotel was decent value for money but it was easy to tell why. The carpets in the room are badly in need of replacement and the furniture is old and tired. The bed was an extremely small double. The bathroom was clean and tidy and towels provided.
Tired rooms, old furniture and carpets stained from spillages. The bed was a very small double.

Wonderful
The room really surprised me, very well equipped even had a small kitchen and the bed was located on a mezzanine floor above the main living space. A really comfortable bed and large roomy bathroom. Excellent value for money, I really enjoyed my 1 night stay. The room would be ideal for someone spending a few days in the City and wanted a home from home base with basic self catering needs.
Nothing really to suggest, it was a really nice room and had everything I needed. There is even a Sainsburys local just a few minutes walk away for basic food & drink needs.
