The temperature was absolutely boiling regardless of where you were in the building they have heating on a timer every 4 hours so before it cools down it’s hot again

The room was upgraded and I liked the big TV 55inchs the price 120 pounds for central Manchester was good and the location right 5 minutes walk to Manchester Victoria station and Piccadilly gardens

The hotel is well situated in the centre of the Northern Quarter. Easy access to car park (not a hotel car park and quite expensive.
The hotel is very dated and in need of a some aesthetic repairs if it is to charge the prices it does. As a budget hotel this would be expected but not at the prices the hotel charge. The room was advertised with no window but there was also no air conditioning and the room was like a hot box with only a desk fan available. The room was not serviced during the stay, not even emptying the bins. Again, as a budget hotel yes, but not at the for almost £200 per night

The tortoises and fish in the lobby, staff were friendly
The back of the location looked pretty scruffy from the main street and it felt a little unsafe after dark coming down the alley to get to the entrance of the hotel

The location is good and the property for what it is, it is as expected
Firstly you are asked to bring your passport with you. I put mine on the counter. The receptionist didn’t even look at it so I wondered why I had been asked to bring it anyway. The heating must have been on full and there was a fan in the room. Even leaving the fan on, in a room with no windows, it was a little uncomfortable sleeping.

Staff and foyer were lovely. Great location. Easy check in/out
Toilet clogged immediately on use in room, no a/c in room. Only standing fan which wasn't doing much. Room was windowless (I was aware on booking) but ended up very warm. Bathroom felt a bit shoddy but all facilities were there (aside from toilet issues)

The room was clean and affordable for a one night stay.
The mattress definitely needed to be changed, could feel the springs and was pretty stiff on the back. One of the lamps and one of the lights would flicker on and off and I could hear the wiring behind the headboard when it was happening.

It's locked centrally to the town
Bar only opens on weekend ( This is not clear on listing! ) Central heating didn't kick in until apparently 4pm room was definitely cold on arrival.
