Clean, quiet and well-located with covered walkway to terminal/multi-storey. Decent restaurant and food also available at equally pleasant bar. Easy check-in and staff friendly and polite.

I liked the proximity to the airport, the warm welcome from staff and the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
The food in the restaurant: we would have appreciated a simpler option for our neurodiverse teen. We ended up walking twenty minutes to another pub on the airport grounds. The meals looked nice, but they were too grand for someone who was hoping for a quick and simple dinner.

Location within the train station/airport was extremely convenient. We arrived by train and walked to the hotel via the covered walkway. We walked to the airline terminal the following morning via the same walkway!

The bottom of the bath was very slippy and I ended up slipping whilst having a shower and acquiring a nasty bruised leg, although there was a mat to use I didn't end up seeing that till after I fell has it was tucked away under the sink

somehow the phone cannot get through (either reception or dial 0) for in-room dining order, not sure why. Ended up going out to eat.

The hotel is directly connected to the airport via a bridge called the Skylink, making it ideal for short stays and layovers. Since we arrived in Manchester late at night, the convenience was unbeatable. The rooms are spacious and clean, and some even offer a great view of the airport runway.
The pillows were a bit firm for my taste, though that's more of a personal preference. It was also quite pricey, but that's to be expected for a hotel in the UK.
