We had a good experience in your hotel except for what happened when we left. The taxi your staff booked was completely disaster. The guy only accepted cash, from your hotel to train station, he charged us 16.6 pounds, which we checked in uber around 6 pounds. Frankly speaking, 10 pounds extra is not a big problem for us, but cheating is not acceptable. I am writing this not for my own benefit, just want to remind you that do not let anyone destroy guest’s impression on you, even it is because of someone who is not your staff.

Breakfast was ok.
For a 5 star hotel they have a lot of work to do. The carpet in our room was scary and the pool had towels, trash, and people doing things that should only be done behind a closed door of their room. The beds looked and felt like low quality for the price. Definitely NOT a 5 star hotel at all?

Atmosphere very friendly staff very clean modern and comfortable with a pool and spar. Definitely my number one choice of Manchester hotels.

Location was very central, bed was comfortable, gym was good, but the spa need cleaning more often
Despite the fact we had a comfortable bed, the hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel in my opinion, I would rate a 3star, maximum 4. Old room, with old furniture, small tv (not even smart tv), really disappointing for the amount of money you pay. They included a spa, pool and gym facility at the refurbished underground floor but forgot that a real 5 stars should account for the small details of the rooms, corridors, entrance door and the customers requests such as early check in or late check out. It’s the whole experience what matters. Definitely not worth the money spent.
