Good
Our room was clean , staff were really friendly , great location of the hotel .
The room we stayed at was “collection premium room with city view “. When we first entered the room, we noticed a constant noise that sounded like a fan and initially assumed it was coming from inside the room. However, once we turned the room fan off and tried to sleep, we realised that the noise was coming from outside.
There were multiple large external fans (around 12) running continuously, creating an extremely loud and constant noise. Unfortunately, the room was in a very poor location and we were unable to sleep all night .
It’s disappointing that this hasn’t been picked up by the Edwardian management team, especially for a room classed as “premium”.
We mentioned this to reception at checkout and received an apology, which was appreciated, but it doesn’t make up for a completely sleepless night.

Great location - amazing staff at reception Kyaw was particularly helpful. Bar service was spectacular and just everyone is so helpful.
Didn’t give great recommendations for dining options and the shower door isn’t very comfortable - too much water leeks out

Very Good
The comfy bed, the staff, the location, the size of the room, the room service was exceptional.
I was expecting a more nicely furnished room considering it's supposed to be a higher-end hotel. The communal areas and reception look fantastic but the room itself wasn't much nicer than a Premier Inn.

Good
The hotel was in a great location and close to the shopping centre and great restaurants in Manchester City centre. The breakfast selection was great!
The room was outdated, the TV was just placed on top of a chest of drawers and very high up, it could have been wall mounted. The breakfast sometimes got very busy and was a wait to be seated, it was also very crowded so getting around was a struggle as the space was small, vegetarian options weren’t readily available and had to be made to order. The spa is glamorised on social media but is actually very small, it go very busy so felt crowded. Also even for two normal sized people the jacuzzi was a squeeze.

Wonderful
The hotel was right across from the venue, the staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel & room were clean, there was a coffee machine in the room (very important) & the amenities were stocked & topped! I also loved the idea of 2 seperate bars - definitely a place to revisit just perhaps with an individual room.
I requested single beds & once rooms were changed to accommodate this it seemed like we were downgraded to a disabled suite?
The room was great, however the bathroom wasn't remotely as nice as the double rooms..it had very low basins and I'm quite tall, so the walk-in 2 basin wet room (I feel) should be in both double & single rooms.

Very Good
Really easy check in and cute little touches. Really lovely spa and generally a really nice hotel in a great location.
The breakfast was on the cold side and the shower flooded the bathroom.
