Charging us £9 for an ice bucket and water when the suite cost £450 per night!!! Unbelievable. Never ever in my life have I been charged for ice in a hotel room and certainly not one where I'm paying this kind of money.

We went as a party of 7. Had 2 suites next to each other with balconies. They are more like a covered courtyard. Inter connecting door on courtyard allowed us to all sit outside together. Very spacious. Rooms were excellent with every convenience you might require. Truffles were a lovely touch.
The only issue was the spa. It is beautiful but you can only visit for 1 hour which has to be pre booked to prevent it from being over crowded. On our visit, Saturday, all the loungers were taken for the whole of the hour we were there. Mentioned this at the spa reception and told that some guests book a spa weekend and can stay in there as long as they like. Also, it's up to you to manage the time in there, as no one comes and checks if you've stayed longer than an hour. On the day we were there, the spa just got busier abd busier and more guests kept coming in all the time. Pool was packed, jacuzzi always in use and sauna and wet room all in use and guests waiting to go in as other guests came out. Our time slot was 15:30 to 16:30 in case future guests want to avoid this time.
