Comfortable quiet room. Very clean and good size. Nice breakfast, good choice of food. Great location, ideal for bars, restaurants and exploring Manchester. Parking close by.

It was clean and quiet.
Horrible parking lot accommodations via partnership/staff direction. Loading zone in front of the hotel was instantly ticketed by enforcement.

Lovely breakfast, Raj at the bar was very friendly and attentive. Rooms were spacious and clean. However that’s as much niceties as I can comment.
Very poor management and communication. This was supposed to be a special occasion for my boyfriend’s birthday and feel massively let down.
Check in starts from 3pm, we arrived at 5:15pm (as both of us were working and travelling from Sheffield) so assumed we would be able to be shown to our room straight after checking in. We were then let down to be told our room was not ready and we would need to wait 30 minutes for it to be ready, as housekeeping had been busy dealing with a high turnaround of rooms. Appreciating this can happen, but also because this was well after checkin started, we were given two free drinks while we waited at the bar, breakfast was also included and we were told we could check out an hour later - at 12 noon. We left our luggage with the concierge and waited in the bar.
By 5:55pm we were finally told our room was ready, our luggage was taken up to the room however this was miscommunicated between two members of staff so we thought it had been stolen. This stalled us another 10 minutes. We eventually then got to our room to find housekeeping were STILL in our allocated room and therefore our room was not ready, despite being told it was. Our booking for food was at 7:30pm and we weren’t in our room until 6:40pm which meant we had less than an hour to get ready, get changed and arrive at our prebooked restaurant which put the whole evening in poor stead compared to what I had planned for my boyfriend.
When we checked in, we pre booked the spa at 9pm Saturday evening and the following morning on Sunday at 11am. When we got back from our meal, we were in the spa pool by 9:15pm, by 9:45, we were being kicked out, despite being told the spa facilities shut at 10:00pm. So we’re short changed by 15 minutes.
By the morning, around 7:30am, I was woken up to the sound of housekeeping vacuuming the corridor.
