Great location, really nice room with a view on one of the upper floors.
Large, comfy bed and room was quiet.
We couldn’t go in the hotel bars when we arrived as there was some function on (Reception staff were unclear what this was). The communal areas were overwhelmingly busy.

Restaurant is a joke! 8.30pm had a table booked, got seated at 8.30pm ordered drinks…. 9.15pm still no drinks! 9.15pm got up and left! Breakfast is also a joke! Waiting 10/15mins to get seated! The whole restaurant is well under staffed! Joke! Also they state a 5 star hotel! It’s far from 5 star!

Had a great stay but thought the breakfast at £29 was extremely overpriced and very disappointed we couldn't have breakfast in the hotel so went to a different hotel down the road.

Lovely hotel, convenient bar and restaurant. Local to everything we wanted to visit
Only one hour spa use which was a a little disappointing as we booked this hotel because of the spa. We did get locked out of our room in the middle of the day but was easily resolved. What really upset us was the staff at reception trying to charge us £550 again before we left and when we explained we paid they wanted to still charge us and make us wait for a refund for the money we paid on arrival due to the money pending. Expecting guests to have double the funds for them to hold onto is a bit much. This caused us a lot of stress while trying to check out as we were in a rush for a work schedule.

Location was fab. The hotel was all dressed up for Christmas, it looked lovely. As there was a Christmas party in the hotel we were upgraded and given a quiet room. Just lovely lovely service.

Location is great.
This hotel is not in line with other 5 stars hotels that I use to visit.
Before arriving, I tried to reach out by phone several times to book some treatments and it was nearly impossible… it took me three days.
Finally I booked a face treatment in the spa and when I arrived they gave me a more expensive one that I didn’t want and charge for that…
The hotel amenities are just not good enough for a 5 stars, there is no face clean for example, very little amenities…
All in all I’ve been in hotels of the same quality paying half the price.

The hotel bar was closed during the day due to a private function! We felt that for the price we paid, this should not have happened! There was nowhere to relax and have a snack and drink
