great location in the city centre
no onsite parking and no more valet parking is a slight issue although there are car parks close by - but valet parking was a plus when they had it

A hotel of quiet luxuries. We had a lovely clean and quiet room, despite facing the road outside where there are many bars. Location could not have been better and pool was wonderful. Staff were also very nice :)
One of the lifts was broken during our stay. Not a massive issue for us as we were on a lower floor and could take the stairs but there was a wait for the remaining lifts.

All the staff were really friendly and welcoming! The room was light and spacious. Excellent location, especially for Lane7, peaky blinders etc. Spa was beautiful, definitely one of the best hotel spas in the city...great facilities and really relaxing!

Great location, but next time will be staying at the 4 star hotel that is 4 min further walk down Peter Street.
The stay fell significantly below the standard expected of a five-star hotel. The spa facilities were overcrowded and poorly maintained, with visible hygiene issues such as discarded towels, paper cups, and false lashes on the floor. The food quality from room service and breakfast was also disappointing, with several items appearing low quality or incorrectly prepared despite premium pricing. Additionally, service was inefficient, particularly when requesting a late checkout and trying to contact staff to collect room service trays. While the room itself was well designed, there were small issues such as an empty minibar despite advertised complimentary water and a loose shower fitting. Overall, the experience did not match the luxury standards or value that were advertised.
