The staff were very friendly and the room is good value for the price. We had 2 rooms in total and the beds were comfortable, everything was obviously clean.
The shower temperatures were unreliable in both rooms, and there was a weird smell in each room. The furniture was also pretty wobbly (wardrobe etc), so could probably just do with a little refresh. I've no doubt the staff would have dealt with the issues if we mentioned them, but we were limited on time, and none of it was a major deal breaker.

The bed was comfy and the room was a decent size and temperature. TV was really good new with a firestick so we could watch anything with our own logins.
The bathroom was really needing refurbished, the door handle was hanging off, the lock was stiff, there was a huge crack in the sink, the radiator handle was taken off and radiator was on constantly so it was like a sauna and the pipe to hold the shower head up fell down multiple times almost hitting us on the head.

Disappointing
It had the essential stuff but beds need new matteres as sinking in and not comfortable at all
To far from the town centre room was very poor for the money beds badly need replacing wardrobe lying to the one side and asked for the room to get cleaned and never got done very poor

Great welcome and staff. Happy to help. We were going to a concert at the A.O. it was an easy walk (30mish). Even let us choose our room from two options

The staff were nice and helpful
The room was unclean with hairs on the bed and marks on the towels. It was very hot and we couldn’t open the windows without mosquitos coming in- appreciate this part isn’t the hotels fault but a fan would have been helpful
