Only one pillow per guest.. no Kettle or drinks.. even a complimentary water?
Needing a make over.. it was a decent hotel but now I might look for another hotel in future.shame really location good..

Location was very convenient. The room was clean, modern, and felt quite new. It was also comfortable, and I appreciated the 24/7 bar with food and drinks.
The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. I was asked to scan a QR code and fill out a form on my phone before being checked in at reception. This felt unnecessary given that I already had a reservation with my details, and it's inconvenient for guests who do not have or do not use smartphones.
Breakfast was very disappointing. The selection was very limited; there were no scrambled or fried eggs, no bacon, no mushrooms, no black pudding, no tomatoes, and the overall variety of hot food, vegetables, and fruit was lacking. Really, there was hardly anything to eat to have a proper, nutritional, protein-rich breakfast. Had I known this in advance, I would not have booked the breakfast option. At every single hotel I've stayed in in the UK and abroad, they at the very least have scrambled or fried eggs.
The lighting in the room was also insufficient, particularly in the bathroom, which was extremely dark. It made it difficult to see properly and felt quite unpleasant. Overall, the room would benefit from brighter or additional lighting to improve comfort.
The safe in my room was not working as it had not been reset and was locked. I reported this to reception and was told it would be fixed the next day, but unfortunately, no one came, so it remained unusable throughout my stay.
The hotel WiFi signal in the room was non-existent, not connectable at all, so I was unable to use it and had to rely on mobile data.
Finally, there was an over-reliance on QR codes for basic services (check-in, housekeeping requests, information, etc), which felt excessive and not particularly user-friendly, as it completely alienates a whole generation of people and just assumes that everyone will own a smartphone or know how to use one.

Good location and good value for money.
The hotel is very disturbing late at night with loud music and people yelling and running in the halls. It is difficult to communicate this with staff as there is not phone to the reception so you must leave your room in the middle of the night to ask them to come deal with a noisy guest.

Check in took 30 mins and breakfast was very poor, no prepared fruit, not pastries and no each options except boiled eggs also found the restaurant staff to be rude and food was labelled for allegens
