Good location, friendly receptionist, the room was warm, and it was very good value for money.
The room smelled mouldy, it took a long time for hot water to come through in the shower, and after 11pm when we had a problem there was no-one there to help.

The location to airport and very comfy bed.
The walls are paper thin. I was kept awake by very very noisy people in the room next to us. I rang reception to ask them to speak to the room. I believe they did although couldn't hear the staff but thats no surprise with the noise the customers were making. But it made no difference they carried on shouting and screaming and attempting singing . It's a good job we were checking out at 2am for.our flight as I couldn't sleep because of it. The hotel itself is good

The WC was mouldy, same as the ceiling in the room.
The bedside lamps were faulty.
The TV mote control wasn't working properly, and there's no signs of direction to the rooms. I just had to figure it out myself.

For the price, the room was spacious, comfortable and clean, there was a stale smoke smell throughout the hotel, which would be my only complaint, apart from that, the hotel is a 3 star hotel and an extremely good value for money stay

The lady on reception, I’m sorry I didn’t get your name, but you are brilliant!! Loved the quaintness and grandeur of the main building and imagining what it looked like years ago, it’s a little dated in places, however it’s an old building so it’s got quirks, overall very good! Breakfast very good also!

The location to the airport is ideal and only a ten minute drive but the best thing was how pleasant the lady on reception was.
The water took a while to heat up in the morning but that was only an issue cause I woke up late otherwise it wouldn’t matter.

The staff. Claire went above and beyond, to change ny room, aftee i pinted oyt tgat the toiket window, was no longer opaque.
There were somw cobwebs here and there, but pretty good, generally.

Great Breakfast, excellent staff and service. The beds where lovely and comfortable and white clean bedlinen loads of parking which is handy for manchester, dont expect frills or extras but it is a great budget object
the exterior and corridoors need attention and some of the decor is dated/damaged - my room had a rug that needed attention and the trim on the bath but it was clean and tidy
