The room was very spacious and staff were friendly.
Unfortunately the room I stayed in was very cold. The heating was on but barely warm and therefore did not heat the room. I had to buy hot water bottles from Tesco and ended up leaving at 3 am because I couldn't get warm or sleep.

Some parts of the hotel are tired such as carpets and furniture but I think the competitive price reflects this. There have been some recent improvements. The rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly.

The stay was only for me for 2 nights. I would not consider the general standard adequate for a longer stay.
The single room was very small. The wash vasin should have been plumbed into the bathroom not the bedroom.

Bed sheets are clean, towels are clean, location of the hotel is good. Well yes there are some stains on carpets and some marks on the walls but the price is a reasonable. If you are looking for a Premier Inn quality then this hotel may not please you. As someone who is looking for a clean bedsheets, towels and a safe location, I can say this hotel is more than enough.

Location
Very dated hotel. We had a very small room not even space to open luggage. The carpet is dirty with stains.
The biggest issue was nobody made us aware Manchester Marathon was running in front of the hotel so we weren't able to drive off the carpark till 5pm. We needed to take Uber home and back. When we approach reception person he did not show any empathy claiming he don't know what we talking about. Very unhelpful and and rude. Absolutely shocking.
Also since 8am Sunday morning we could hear housekeeping knocking on doors and cleaning rooms. Not worth for money we paid.
