The mattresses are the best ones we've had in a hotel yet! Unbelievably comfortable and the rooms are so quiet! We were given the option of what floor and preferences to noise levels but it was definitely sound proof. It is placed perfectly for an evening out in town and the staff are friendly. It's very relaxed there. There is also a safe in our room and hairdryer which I've struggled with at more expensive hotels. I'd definitely say it's worth the money for the sleep quality alone.
I didn't pay enough attention to detail when booking as the breakfast worked out £30 more for two of us and it is only continental so that could be clearer and the staff member did let us know thankfully. We did cancel breakfast. The lack of a mini fridge or option for any water that isn't from the bar or sink is a bit of an issue however again oversight on my part for not checking the facilities properly. I do think that bottled water or even the option for purchasing this should be made clearer. Our room didn't have a bin which I do think should come as standard however the other rooms may be different.

The hotel was so well located for our venue.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the man’s who seemed to be everywhere. I didn’t get his name . He was at the bar, opened the car park gates then appeared on reception. He was interested in our trip . His Scottish accent made him standout . Room was warm clean and comfortable.
