i loved this hotel me and my partner stayed here for the weekned and it was great walking distance from the place warehouse project and from the city centre the staff were so nice and helpful and the room was really clean and the comfiest bed i’ve ever slept in, in a hotel i definitely recommend this hotel if this your first time going to manchester i will definitely be back !

The hotel is clean and decent. The room is smaller than I expected, but I have a big bed. The table is also small for working, but it's bearable. In addition, the price and the location is good so I cannot have much complaint. The bathroom is small but has everything.
The room is bit cramped with many things fitted into a small space. The snack bar is bit poor but okay.

Location is excellent - across the road from Piccadilly Metrolink - we were staying the night of Tom Grennan at the Co-op Live so didn't want to be trekking across the city after getting off the tram. Also a 30 second walk from the Q-Park Piccadilly Place (tip - do not pre book as the max 24 hour rate of £28 is cheaper than booking. If on a budget there is a small NCP car park behind the station at £4 per 24 hours)
Reception and bar area gives a luxurious feel.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Room was clean
Lifts were quick - this is a big hotel at 13 floors but we were never waiting long
Neither of us could find a pillow that was comfortable - one was way too soft and the other was very hard and weirdly shaped. - this was the only major complaint, the others are just small niggles that wouldn't put me off:
The bed was one of those ones that has a split down the middle instead of a full king however this seems to be common across a lot of chains now.
TV is limited to Freeview only, can't cast to it
Shower tray was cheap nasty plastic and the water pressure was poor.
Felt bar was over priced - £2.70 for a 200ml Coke - we ended up just ordering cold bottles in via Uber Eats.
Ultimately you are getting a prime location at a price point and you will always have some sacrifices. I've stayed in Motel Ones before for business and they are better than a lot of Premier Inns!
