Good
The hotel location is very close to the station and all the city's amenities. The rooms are average size and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Not overly expensive so OK for the charge.
They lack drawers and wardrobes, only having a small hanging rail to the side of the bed and a slightly longer one next to TV above the mirror, blocking using it if you want to hang your coats or other clothing. No coat hooks anywhere. The rail by the bed was enclosed in a side facing open cupboard but I found it hard to use as the only (uncomfortable) chair was right next to it blocking access. As the chair was very heavy I found it difficult to move out of the way, not that there was much room to do that anyway. There was a kettle, tea and coffee making facilities in a small cupboard with a drop down door but as a short person I found this very difficult to reach and pour from the kettle without stretching. No bedside tables so no where to put a clock , phone or any medication etc you need at night. If you are travelling light this hotel room is fine but if you are staying more than a night or two you may struggle. Breakfast is basic, continental. Two types of egg, hard boiled or very hard boiled, other options would have been nice. Nice bread, variable pastries, fruit, meats, cheeses etc but very limited cereal. The dining area is right by the door and everytime someone enters or leaves you end up sat in the cold. Not ideal during winter months.

Very Poor
Just the location.
I stayed here for one night in Manchester and paid £128. While the location is convenient, the overall experience was very disappointing and definitely not worth the price.
First, the room was extremely small and felt cramped. More importantly, it lacked even basic facilities that most hotels normally provide. There was no kettle, no tea or coffee, no glasses, and not even a spoon. Basic toiletries were also missing — there was no toothbrush, toothpaste, or bathrobe. The only things provided were shampoo and about one and a half rolls of toilet paper.
The TV turned off by itself at one point and there wasn’t even a remote control in the room to try to fix it. There was also no phone in the room, which meant that whenever we needed anything we had to go all the way down to reception to ask.
Another major issue was the temperature control. We tried to increase the temperature, but it didn’t seem to work and the room stayed quite cold throughout the night. It was uncomfortable enough that we actually felt a bit sick the next day.
Overall, this stay was a very poor experience, especially considering the price. Aside from the good location, there was very little to justify the cost. I definitely would not choose to stay here again.

They let us check in straight away from around 1pm rather than waiting until 3pm. The lady on the desk was absolutely lovely and so helpful and it was an all round pleasant experience. So clean in the room and everything we could need with a great view over manchester.
Unable to comment. Very pleasant experience all round
