The location is perfect and the staff are friendly. We managed to check in early which was great.
When we arrived there was hair all over the bedsheets and it had stains on the sheets. The room is dated and the TV didn't work. The bed was also really hard.

Very close proximity to centre and trams etc
The shower was too low for tall people and the bed was lobsided as two single beds pushed together and there was an indentation in one of the beds which caused one of us to roll into a hole.

Rooms are old and not very clean, in particular the bathrooms are very very poor for a four star hotel. Been to many three stars where the bathrooms are a lot better. Not to be recommended
Bathroom are poor, security is poor anybody can walk into the hotel and the lifts

Close to palace theatre and had parking. Easy check in and helpful and polite friendly staff. Breakfast very good and great choice of food.
The whole building was a bit tired and dated that's why I felt it wasn't great value for money. One bed side light didn't work.
