All of the staff were pleasant, efficient, courteous and helpful. The room was simple but comfortable. The bed was great and I slept well. The breakfast was excellent in quality and choice. The dining room was bright and spacious with a picture window overlooking Piccadilly Gardens. The location was perfect with excellent transport links to sports and music venues, train stations and Manchester Airport. The hotel is in the centre of the shopping district. It is perfect for any visit to Manchester, whatever the reason.
The building is not the prettiest on the outside reminding me of 1960s brutalist design. Once inside it is dated but nice in its way.

Location and breakfast were great.
The pillows weren't very comfortable and the lighting was very dull in the room.

The room was very modern, very clean with a comfy bed. There was coffee station with some biscuits which was a nice touch. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was very nice and great value for money.
Would recommend staying here.
The car park was expensive but cheaper compared to other car parks around the city!

Good
The location is convenient and centrally located. The bed was comfortable and we got nice Tips for food from the front desk. Value for money is good because we got a good price on the room. Check out was 12, which is great for us.
You can tell that the hotel has been around a long time. It is pretty rundown. While the location is very central, theres also some dodgy people around. All in all I would do it if you're staying a short while and get a good price.
