The bed was huge. The staff were lovely.
Pillows were rock hard. The kettle tripped the electrics twice. No menu for restaurant easily available.
Directions for the car park non existent, putting the postcode in takes you away from where it is.

Very convenient and informative, knew exactly where everything was when we first got there. They also didn't ask for a deposit, which we were expecting!
Since we booked through booking.com, they also let us check out at 12pm.
Next to a SPAR, a tescos express and an Asian convenience store.

The beds were comfy and its was spacious and had a bath and a shower and tea and coffee in the room aswell

Room was a good size. Staff were attentive to our needs and very helpful when asked questions. Comfy mattress.
The bedsheet was very small for me and I'm not a tall guy. Standard practise felt a little off, for example - cold water from the bathroom tap was hard to access, only 1 toilet roll was provided, confusion around check out time.

The location was excellent, it was clean and the staff were very helpful
There was renovations at the time we arrived, which we were not aware of and not mentioned when we checked in. The workmen started at 7.30 in the morning and The drilling started at 9 which was above our room so not very peaceful. It was not the alarm call we wanted.

Good variety of restaurants and shops/supermarkets nearby. Comfortable beds and clean room with a nice view to the hills in the distance (some rooms only I suppose)
My fault but it was a bit further from Piccadilly station than I thought. (It's by Piccadilly Gardens, not the station). Other than that it was fine and had good views over Manchester and to the hills beyond. It was good before a morning flight the next day.

quick efficient service on reception
everywhere was nice and clean
Bartender - first shift, was drownig without assistance, waited over 30 minutes to be served
Room noise - not sure about soundproofing. We have stayed many times before and never heard our neighbours chatting through the wall like this(2 male voices). They weren't raised voices, just chatting. Made us feel a bit vulnerable in case others could hear two womens voices through the wall.

The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful during our stay. Any time I had a query I used the chat feature and got a response within one minute which was extremely reassuring. They held our bags for us post checkout as I was visiting for work which was really appreciated.
Our room was outdated and it wasn’t the cleanest but we were comfortable and it’s understandable being that there are a lot of rooms.There was loud drilling and hammering going on at 8am which we didn’t necessarily mind because we were already awake but for others visiting for a relaxing city break I can’t imagine would have been very comfortable.
