Poor
locatin
I stayed at this hotel on 24th June and again from 26th to 28th June. During my stay, the weather was extremely hot, yet the air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly. The hotel provided only a small fan, which was insufficient. Although I was given a 50% refund for the first night, the same issue persisted over the following two nights without any further compensation:(

Pleasant
Location was perfect for us - right beside the tram, which we used to go directly to Etihad for a concert and also a direct tram to the airport.
Staff were very friendly, bed was very comfortable.
We were originally checked into an uncleaned room. I went to the reception and we were quickly changed.
I had asked for a twin room and was advised the bed would be split for us, but it wasn't and we didnt get back until late after a concert, so didn't ask for it to be done then.
Aircon didn't work

Excellent location, good room (though they are going through a refresh now) and a good breakfast
Our room was one that could have used a refresh but it was still quite decent

Wonderful
Breakfast was solid.
Room was clean
But the most important aspect of the hotel was the location.
Close to both train stations.
Easy access to eateries and shops.
I liked most everything. Nothing to complain about

Very Good
Close to palace theatre and had parking. Easy check in and helpful and polite friendly staff. Breakfast very good and great choice of food.
The whole building was a bit tired and dated that's why I felt it wasn't great value for money. One bed side light didn't work.

Good
The location is convenient and centrally located. The bed was comfortable and we got nice Tips for food from the front desk. Value for money is good because we got a good price on the room. Check out was 12, which is great for us.
You can tell that the hotel has been around a long time. It is pretty rundown. While the location is very central, theres also some dodgy people around. All in all I would do it if you're staying a short while and get a good price.

Very Good
Location right in the city center of manchester
Confortable bed
Cozy bathub
Nice view
Decent restaurant
Helpful personnel
Noise isulation between the rooms is pretty bad! You could hear almost everything from the neighbors. Either that or my neighbor was disrespectful and very loud.
Luckily the reception staff helped me with this situation and silenced the noisy neighbor.

The breakfast met my needs as well as the gym and location
The bathroom mirror was dirty, and the full body mirror. The construction noises were the most discomfort. There were no plugs near the bed as well

Pleasant
Clean, wonderful location.
I'm a frequent stayer at this hotel but this time as a NY treat we booked the privilege room for 3 nights and we were disappointed. The wardrobe space was very limited, we were supposed to get bathrooms and slippers but there were none provided and our room wasn't cleaned and only offered to be once when I was in the shower so couldn't do it then. I wasn't impressed this time and I would go for a normal room if I was to stay again
