The room was upgraded and had character, breakfast with the river view was a bonus. The check in team were wonderful.
Although the room was full of character it was also full of dust above the bed. The air con device seemed to be for show as it wouldn't let me adjust a cold room. However the bar was the most disappointing, came back on Saturday night and the bar was unattended, when the girl came back there was no courteous apology. Ordered 2 cocktails in miniature glasses, I ordered a strawberry dacquiri but she used raspberry syrup, my wife had something I had never seen before... It was completely translucent and devoid of any taste or flavour. £20 for that experience, what was most distasteful was that upon leaving some bar staff whom had turned up where laughing with her about the raspberry, apparently the strawberry syrup was under her nose. Live and learn, but will not be returning.

The rooms were in excellent condition. The staff were super friendly and professional. Breakfast was delicious. My kids loved every minute.
Parking should be free for guests. You have to pay.

Lovely hotel friendly staff breakfast was very nice
Just car parking was expensive £23 for the day and if you moved your car you were not guaranteed your space when you got back which was a bit annoying
