The fact I’ve been charged twice! I’m still waiting for an invoice that was supposed to have been emailed to me on Saturday? Also a refund from one of the payments

We were visiting the Aviva venue nearby so this was the perfect location! Staff were super helpful, the room was clean and beautifully decorated with a large TV. Bed was incredibly comfy and the toiletries and tea tray were great.
We could hear slight noise from the room next door but this is to be expected from a family with small children.

Great checking service. Room was very comfortable. Bed was great and good quality linen. Good quality breakfast with plenty of choice. Continental and hot buffet.

Nice room overall and the staff were great. The room's temperature, hot water, and blackout curtains were all good. We were able to have an early check in, and they held our bags for us after checkout which is useful.
The soundproofing wasn't great, we could hear our upstairs neighbours. One of the lights in our room had a blown bulb, and the wifi was not accessible without a 'membership'. The location is a bit away from the main part of town but in a nice area. Minor annoyances in the scheme of things.

Spacious rooms and quiet surroundings.
Liked everything, also noticed rat traps on the derelict area of land next to the hotel. Not looking at this as a negative but rather a good sign that health and safety is a priority in this location.

The aesthetics and design of the building were so lovely. We loved the history of the building and the sympathetic design with some original features. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Our room was amazing and very comfortable. We stayed two nights but under separate bookings: the first night was booked by some organisers of a conference my husband was speaking at; the second night we booked through booking.com. When we arrived we were told that the first night booking had been upgraded and the staff (namely Rafa) were so helpful in assisting us in being able to stay in the same room for both nights without any inconvenience of moving rooms. That was so convenient to us and very appreciated. The hotel was really conveniently located to the city with lots of nice places to eat and drink. We visited at the end of November whilst everything looked so Christmassy and enjoyed our first visit to Manchester with all the Christmas markets to wander around.
Nothing not to like really! We didn’t find the kettle and tea/coffee until the last morning as it’s kept in a cupboard, but that was just funny. The bar was quite expensive and the breakfast options were good but we weren’t overly blown away.

Perfect location for concert at arena nearby. Very comfortable bed very clean beautiful room. Lovely touch of being able to fill jar of cold water for room by the lifts.
WiFi wasn't great. Took a few hours before I could connect with name and room number. Quite expensive, especially the restaurant.
