Excellent, friendly staff, particularly Maryenn and Dimytro on reception. We were upgraded to a suite. Bar and restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful and all staff that we met greeted us throughout our one night stay. Our room was large with a huge, comfy bed.
The bar and restaurant area aren't as nice as last time we stayed, the bar is strangely in the middle of the room and everything looked a bit past its best, especially the area along the waterside. Bar staff were slowly cleaning up after an event and tables were unwiped and masses of dirty glasses were on trolleys and on the bar for the couple of hours we were there. We sat at a dirty table for our little celebration, which was a shame. Our bathroom was clean but the door edge was very grubby and I noticed a black patch on the sealant of the shower and some wear on the tray.

It was in a good location although the car park was full so we were given a discount code to park at a nearby public car park.
The air conditioning in the room did not work. It was very uncomfortable. We rang reception thinking we were not doing something right. Someone came up and said it should start cooling in 15min but it didn’t. It was very hot.

Location is good. Reception staff were very informative and helpful Room was cleaned to a high standard daily
Some of the bar staff were a little rude and I think a little more training is needed. And a smile from some of them would be nice. When we stayed last year the bar/restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and they have all changed now which is a shame

Location. The building itself is old and quite quirky with interesting original features.
Poor view considering we paid for upgrade. Noisy extractor fans outside room. Reception wouldn't change. Said they were full. Hotel was not busy. Uninspiring choices on al a cart breakfast menu (not that we were asked) the menu itself has seen better days.
