Location was perfect for our visit. Also pet friendly which is why we chose this hotel. Room was very clean including bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant at breakfast. EV charging points available, but not rapid chargers.
No mobile reception at all in the rooms at the back of the hotel and there was no quiet lounge area where you could go to make phone calls near front of hotel where the reception was better. The corridor carpets looked well worn in places and in need of refresh. The car park was very full and busy at all times. I couldn't connect my laptop to the internet due to the annoying registration page not loading, though worked ok on my mobile phone. A mistake was made in overcharging my card. This was put right before I checked out, but it did take about 20 minutes to rectify.

Delta has not yet released the pre-authorization charge of GBP 159.00 even though I paid for the room charges on September 12th. Today is September 16th.

Smart refurbished modern hotel, two stories only, in two courtyard configuration. Floor layout diagram is very useful. The courtyards are very well planted and landscaped. Rooms are pretty spacious and well appointed. A number of car parks surrounding, filled with quality vehicles (where are all those people hiding? The building does not feel crowded). Entrance foyer has car canopy in-out to pick up guests. Staff are pleasant professional and helpful, including the housekeeping folks. Good location for the airport and south Manchester.
Downsides? Poor WiFi. Bar and erzatz French bistro tired, brown, cheap and dull. Food there not great, breakfast disappointing.
However, immediately adjacent but not part of the hotel is the San Carlo Italian Restaurant, which is exceptional.

Very nice hotel stay and staff were lovely room clean would recommend. Partner said the breakfast was also very good
Only downfall was we requested a travel cot for our 8 month old who was asleep and we wanted to transfer him straight into the cot on arrival but the cot was not in the room or ready it was sent to us 30 minuets after we were there so he had woke up we also had to put it up ourselves
