Disappointing
Room was clean and bathroom . Bed was comfortable.
Reception staff not friendly , some need training in hospitality . Depressing ! No pleasant welcome . Wasn’t told where to locate room . Did not greet on arrival or later that evening when we returned . Breakfast chef miserable , poor quality produce . Breakfast mugs ‘ pink ‘ awful . Could not believe was the Marriott.

Great hotel, excellent pool area.
The breakfast offerings have certainly gone down hill since our last stay.

Excellent room and reception staff , spa and pool are a bonus if time allows.
Poor service in Brasserie Blanc , we have stayed here numerous times and this was the worst experience yet. We will be returning, but will eat at the Italian next time.

Clean Room and comfortable bed
Parking is a nightmare the moment you arrive, cars cramped together tightly, double parked and almost impossible to navigate around.
Maria at the check in counter could not have looked less pleased at having to check me in if she tried. She wasn’t friendly, warm or pleasant. Had the demeanour of someone who looked inconvenienced by my arrival. She showed attitude, spoke condescendingly and gave no please, no Thankyou, and these are basics that you would expect from someone supposed to welcome you to the hotel.
The corridors on the way to and outside the room had the strongest smell of marijuana. Quite obvious that someone was smoking in their room. Also on route I counted 3 food trays that had been left outside the door at 5:30pm when I checked in. I left the hotel to meet some friends for dinner, and on my return at 10pm, they were still there.
The room itself was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable, But that’s the only positive of the stay to note.
I booked the hotel because of the pool and leisure facilities. The pictures looked good when booking. The experience however was far from good. I’m not exaggerating when saying that the changing rooms were a shambles. Used Towel abandoned on the floor, more than half of the lockers were either broken with doors hanging off, or not working. I had to change lockers 3 times to find one that would lock. Even then the hinges on this particular one were broken and I spent my time worrying about how easy it would be to break into. The seats were dirty, and couldn’t be sat in to change and there were used plastic bags and tags on the floor and benches everywhere.
The steam room and sauna were small and in good working order. But they were small, and the place was full so it was cramped and uncomfortable sharing the facilities with so many people.

I like how warm and welcoming the staff were, very kind and so helpful. It was clean, the room was also a great size and comfortable bed. The location was perfect too and so was the food.
There was nothing I didn’t like.

The hotel was very clean very welcoming and the staff very warm and -professional the room was nice wonderful hot shower and good bathroom.
Lovely large double beds to sleep in.
The room temperature with the little cold at night and early in the morning.
The beds were a little bit hard for me. But there are plenty of comfy pillows.As a
4 Star Hotel, it would have been nice to have a coffee machine and not sachets. Also, the mini bar was empty.
I'm also a little confused about the deposit that you pay as an extra. as there is no mini bar and no extras really to pay for. From the room.
As it has a communal bar and restaurant which i did not charge to my room, I paid full price for anything that I ate t or drank in the restaurant.
