Good location. Nicely decorated. Room quiet
Bed had a massive dip in the middle which you both rolled into. We paid for room upgrade but it was disappointing - the Leeds upgrade you get chocs, water in the fridge etc. there was none of those things here. Also the pillows oddly short in length

The bar was lovely and festive
The beds are really comfortable.
The location is great
The rooms are way too dark, not great when you have poor eyesight. There are no mirrors or plugs located conveniently to be able to do make up to hair properly. A little more thought in this area would go along way.
The breakfast is no where near as good as they used to be in this hotel. My husbands full English was cold and the quality just isn't as good.
The air vents in the room were extremely noisy for half of the night and woke me up.
This has always been our favourite hotel in Manchester but little details are sadly letting it down. The new Malmaison in Manchester is better.

Location and style is good, bar area is cool.
Dinner included in package wasn’t explained very well. Rooms are very small too. Not convinced the brand equates to the same level of experience as originally encountered with these hotels plus there are other hotels that offer more for the same value. Probably time for a refresh or relaunch but what would I know….
