Central location. Shower water pressure and temperature. Good complementary tea selection in the room. Bar ambiance. Comfortable mattress.

Comfortable bed, clean room, friendly and helpful staff.
A little noisy from the street below. Also the lighting in the room as well as the décor was strange. And we’ve never liked the style of shower where there’s no separation from the rest of the bathroom.

Lighting was very dark in the room and the bathroom was very dated with water damage around the skirting and bottom of the bathroom door

A very trendy, interesting hotel, we loved the different decor. Appreciated that we could check in on arrival early. Rooms are decorated beautifully, and have good facilities. As we were only staying one night, in transit prior to flying home after 2 months away, it was super convenient to have dinner on site, and we enjoyed a special meal deal.

The absolutly fantastic people at the front desk, the amacing massage therapist's in the spa, and the 5.star resturant ?
That on the menu in the otherwise great resturant was Lobster but whe i orderd it the waiter told me you stoped selling it... i saw it on the menu the night before and was looking forward to having Lobster for 24.hours ?

Lights didn’t work in room on arrival but front desk sent someone up to fix promptly.
TV of adjoining room must be mounted to wall behind headboard as could hear it word for word till about 2am, paper thin walls.
Wet room wasn’t draining which meant toilet was in a lake of water after a short shower?

Arrived late but no food available at 9.35 on a Friday night!
Breakfast didn’t start until 8.00 on a Saturday so had to catch a later train.

Very clean, excellent location, and very friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to the receptionist who checked us in when we arrived (her name probably Rebecca). She and the gentleman with her in the shift were extremely helpful and accommodative to our requests and queries.
Lighting in the elevator and the corridor was low..other than this everything was perfect

There’s an odd smell in both the hallway and the room, likely lingering from previous smoking. The hotel is also fully carpeted, which might be contributing to it

What I liked? Absolutely everything. Clean, spacious room, working room amenities, fast and great service, and yes, the location, which is ideal to visit all the city attractions. Also, the price, which is highly competitive. All in all, a great stay, thank you very much!! A short mention. While the carpet in the rooms feels so amazing to walk on, be aware that's gonna be a pain to clean it, if something is spilled on.

Proximity to train station
The room was so small we couldn't unpack our bags. There is no information in the room about services, such as breakfast or room service, unless you use your phone to read the code on the dresser and then it's minimal. There is no way to contact the hotel desk from your room, so we had to go in person to reception to find towels. Exterior photos are of the splendid old building but the tiny room is in a modern monstrosity with and equally tiny window.
