The bed was really comfortable and the bar downstairs was great.
It seemed a little tired and could do with a revamp especially the bathroom/bath area.

Clean room with good facilities - coffee machine, mini fridge, bath robes and slippers
Spacious room with a very comfy bed.
Friendly staff upon check in and check out.
Didn’t try the bar/restaurant but always looked busy. We also got given a free drinks voucher for opting to not have the room cleaned (only a 2 night stay) which was a nice touch to promote an eco friendly policy.
As we were in central Manchester, we expected parking to be expensive. However, when we made the booking it stated that you could get discount if you used the Q car park near to the hotel. Upon check out we were provided a code to give to the Q park assistant when making the payment. They stated the discount was for online bookings for the car park only - this is not clear through the booking with Malmaison so we missed out on the discount.
The fixtures in the bathroom were loose on the shower. Didn’t impact the use but also could leave customers liable to pay for repairs.
Due to the location being central, the noise of the traffic was quite loud throughout the night but appreciate that is out of the hotels control!

Everything from the welcome desk to the room to the dining area were magnificent!
The art deco design throughout the hotel was incredible and the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant were amazing- fabulous food and wonderful staff too.
