The bed was comfortable and the staff were kond enough to upgrade our room since it was our wedding night
The coffee machine didn't work, neither did the phone, and the air conditioning kept turning itself on even thought we wanted it off. And we found some women's underwear that belonged to neither of us and it really spoiled our evening.

The room was large, clean and better than expected
The breakfast was poor for the price both in terms of quality and variety. In addition breakfast service finished abruptly at 9.30 with everything cleared away within minutes. Most hotels will serve until at least 10.00am

Room was spacious and warm, lighting was amazing and set up was great. The gentleman working reception that night was extremely helpful
I didn't like that my room was facing the train station platform, so I couldn't leave my curtains undrawn

This is a pretty good standard of hotel for a very reasonable price. The rooms (including en suite) are bigger than many and in good order and clean. Location, 5 mins walk from Piccadilly station, ideal
Although the room is cheap by city centre standards, the catering is expensive.
Mattresses seemed a bit hard this time though we haven't noticed that on previous stays so may be a bit random.

The staff were all lovely helpful and polite , breakfast was fabulous. Beds were comfy it was the pillows that were a little too hard.
Room was very clean. Lovely toiletries to use and nice towels . One little thing I did miss was bottled water and a biscuit

The car park behind the building, a few yards away is PERFECT for myself driving 3/4 hrs to Manchester, a ultra safe space
