Polite stuff, location
No sleepers, no Bathrobe, no smart tv so no chromecast, no nespresso machine, no toiletries, no good cleaning of the room.

Very close to train station. Comfortable room and bed. Liked the bottle in the fridge we could fill with water. Sound proofing was good. Wardrobe area worked well. Long mirror was good. Reading light by the bed was good.
Shower wasn’t that efficient. Sunday morning the water was only just hot enough. Needed a couple of hooks in the bathroom to hang towels. Would have been good to have a little dressing table next to the tea/coffee cupboard.

Disappointing
The ladies at breakfast were great, very helpfull and nice. The gentlemen greeting the guests at the entrance very nice.
Well:
- During checking in I was a bit disapointed that while my colleague couldn't travel due to her mom passing away. The guy asked: "so do you want to check in the other room too? While she clearly wasn't travelling along
- Ordered my food at 18.00 directly with my drink and at 19.00 they walked up telling that the hotel ran out of fries and if potato fries were okay too? Hour and 20 minutes for a Ribeye is quiet a stretch to me.
- Medium / Rare was pretty much well done. It tasted truly without offending any staff that the bar staff cooked instead of a chef.
So not great to say the least.

Good location, right beside Piccadilly station. Pleasant check in experience.
I contacted the hotel immediately after booking to enquire about the spa. They informed me that hotel guests were not able to use it unless they paid a surcharge. I advised I hadn't been aware of this when booking and asked if I could therefore cancel the booking which they refused. This left a bitter taste.
