This hotel was the best part of our visit to Manchester. Adelina at the reception was amazing! We were celebrating our anniversary and she walked the extra mile to make us feel special! Breakfast was delicious!

Nice modern building and rooms. Lovely staff - from the get go greeted with a lovely drink while checking-in. Can’t fault the hotel. Definitely booking again.
Wifi sometimes slow but overall decent experience

I would stay here again in a heartbeat - the beds are probably the most comfortable hotel ones I have slept in. The room is well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. The bathroom was nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff at check-in and out. Fantastic location in the Northern Quarter. And a bit random, but really great smelling hand soap too ;)
I had some noisy blokes staying next door, and the door separating our two rooms didn't appear to be as sound-proofed as would have been required to match their lungs. Towels dried only slowly in bathroom.

The location was great. So close to the train station. The hotel is lovely with friendly staff at the reception area. We ate at their restaurant and enjoyed the food. Our room had views of the canals and were very clean. Our room wasn’t spacious but we managed. The towels were fresh and fluffy and I like the shower pressure.
We were on the second floor and the moment we got off the elevator we had a strong whiff of mold and mildew. We thought perhaps the floor had a water leak somewhere. But once we got inside our room the smell continued. In fact the first night I was not able to sleep well. The following morning we noticed we were overlooking the canal but that shouldn’t have cause that horrible smell. When we came back from touring the next day the odor was still there. We stayed two nights so we didn’t say anything thinking it’s a one off.

The location was really good, staff were helpful and the rooms were comfortable!
Shower was a bit dodgy, it would constantly change from hot to cold
Breakfast was just ok, could have been better for the price.

New feel (because it is!), clean contemporary style decor. Chargeable parking over the road and the right by Picadilly station. Welcome drink was a nice touch and reception staff were very friendly.
Balcony room facing Ducie Street had a lot of noise from outside on both morning. Not the hotels fault but as there’s no furniture on the balcony or view of anything other than the building opposite then you’d likely have a quieter stay in alternative rooms.

Would say the breakfast on a whole was value for money for the £12.50 per person we paid. I would point out though that there could be a wait as the dining area is only small and if everyone turns up at the same time, you have to wait for a table. We did not mind that as we could have a juice and coffee whilst waiting. The quality of the ingredients was good however on my plate was one piece of bacon cooked normally and another that was absolutely frazzled and should never have been put on the plate. My Husband likes his food really hot but it was only warm. Maybe a microwave could be tucked in a corner somewhere for people like my Husband just to heat it up. The location of the hotel is fantastic if you are using Piccadilly, just a short few minutes away.
We found the room to be very dark and it looked as though 2 of the little round ceiling lights were out so maybe someone needs to check. My Husband found a Tomato sauce packed and a top under the bed which were from a previous guest. I found when using the sink in the bathroom, if you pressed the plug down to fill the sink for washing all little black bits were floating in the water so I left the tap running to wash which is not environmentally economical but I did like the look of the black bits floating in the water.

The breakfast was v tasty but for £20 I would have e expected a little more selection on the charcuterie board (2 cheeses only and Jacob’s cream crackers only)
Again, dinner was lovely but £12 for 4 v thin, small pieces of asparagus and v thon slice of goats cheese wasn’t much! 5 pawns for the main.
We just felt overall the food was very lovely but sparse.
The room was gorgeous. Very comfy bed and it was beautifully presented. The shower was incredibly
Explained above!
