The only downside was that the rooftop pool was closed, but these things can’t be helped and the hotel offered complementary access to the spa which was lovely

The main property itself was nice but the room itself (room 20), the bedroom was dark all day, poor natural light. Lack of plug sockets for drying hair etc, mirror facing the bed which was uncomfortable. Was disappointed with the room based on photos on website etc. In addition, pool unavailable (which we were made aware of) but also roof terrace on Thurs 28th meaning there was no where to sit and relax (room dark) which was quite frustrating. In addition in talking to other guests understand they had received discounted room rate due to the issues where as I had booked earlier, was penalised as paid full rate. Location wise the hotel is in a fab location Staff were helpful and attentive The room was very disappointing and unfortunately this did impact our stay

Really great service from all staff. Also I enjoyed the food I ordered through room service.
Not enough water in the room - one small bottle when it is over 30 degrees outside. Water should always be free. Also a very noisy mini bar that I could not turn off and it disrupted my sleep.

Room was lovely
Had very late notice that the pool was closed and so didn’t have time to look at other options as we were staying the night after our wedding. We received complimentary spa access but didn’t feel the stay was worth the price. On arrival we were told there should be a bottle of Prosecco waiting, there wasn’t. We told the staff and they told us it would be bought up. We didn’t receive the bottle of prosecco and so rang again (at this stage thinking maybe it was a complimentary bottle from the hotel for the pool / wedding), it was finally bought up and turned out to be a gift from friends. We were really disappointed, as if we hadn’t chased we would never have received this. Service doesn’t meet up to expectation.
