It was ok
The fact that they take £200 off as a deposit but don’t repay it back for 3 working days.
Also, the key fob didn’t work when I went up to my room so had to go back to reception.
Lift very slow.

The room was lovely and much bigger than I expected. The bar wasn't open when we arrived back after dinner, but looked nice.
One of the reception staff was a bit unhelpful but I think that might be lack of experience rather than deliberate

Comfortable.
Bar service slow - 50 minutes for a cocktail, turns out the bar tender had to send a colleague to the downstairs bar for an ingredient to make a three ingredient cocktail. I wasn’t told until I inquired so was not able to opt for a different drink. The bar was not busy - I mean no one except a handful of people who had been served out on the terrace. No inside seating available, the bar was cleared out. Pricey.

Location was good
Was a bit overpriced for the standard of room. Lots of stains on carpets and could defo do with a refurb. We spent a lot £££ on 2 nights. We also booked a massage which was £180 each (not a very good massage) and they tried charging us £20 per person extra to use the sauna etc. until I said I would cancel my massage as I thought it was ridiculous that we would be charged extra after spending almost £400 on 2 massages. Shame really as I wanted to stay here for a while now.

Hotel was nice with friendly staff, pool was great.
Unable to open a window in the room and felt dark not much light. Parking was nightmare for us, we paid alot of money to park in nearby car park (China town) as hotel doesn't have its own, then got parking tickets both days not sure why but resulted in us paying around £100 to stay at the hotel. Also had to pay a small fee to visit Manchester? Very expensive stay over all.
