It's very well located, close to the tram (Deansgate) and within walking distance of many things (food, groceries, pubs, etc).
We had a free upgrade, which was brilliant! The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast has a lot of options and everything was good.
We would stay again and recommend it to anyone.

I booked the room on behalf of my elderly mum who was joining our choir stay.
The duty staff (especially Connor) went over and beyond to arrange mum"s room by lift and so that she could keep her room for second night stay which was part of a further group booking)
The room was spacious and comfoftable. Super comfy bed.
The layout of the self service breakfast was weird with hot food on two sides of central island. Whicj meant obstruction from others queing for coffee. Needs more thought to layout especially when busy.

Great location for an event in the Bridgewater Hall. Staff lovely. Beds comfy and lovely big fluffy towels.
A wee bit tired decor but that didn’t reduce the comfort of my stay.

The room was a good size, as I upgraded to a larger room. Other friends were not so lucky.
The bathroom wasn't as clean as I expected, something left on floor next to toilet. A few hairs in the basin. I also asked reception for a few extra hangers as there were only 3 in the room and I was staying for 3 nights and was performing at Bridgewater Hall so had costumes to hang up as well as other clothes. I was told that housekeeping would deliver them to my room. This never happened.
The hotel is a bit tired.
The breakfast was very disappointing for £14. The first morning queues for the hot breakfast were ridiculous as items had run out and everyone had to wait until they were replaced, the breakfast we did get on one side was hot until we had to stand in a queue to wait for the other items of food on the other side, food got cold. The hotel knew that there were a large amount of people staying and should have planned this well ahead of the day. The staff on duty were very helpful but management organisation of breakfast is needed. The second morning there was only congealed sad looking fried eggs left, at least that was better than no egg like the first morning.

Great location close to Bridgewater hall. Comfortable bed and good night's sleep. Wide choice for breakfast. Asked for more tea and milk for the room which was quickly supplied.
