The breakfast was exceptional, the Gino restaurant has to be the best self sanche breakfast me and my partner have ever had. Very clean hotel, great location and we will defiantly return. Staff all superb. The first breakfast buffet. To serve milk alternatives for dairy intolerance. Too notch will definitely return.

Close to coop arena cost around £7 in an uber.
The toilet was a problem literally like sitting in a cupboard. Had to use the 1st floor toilets for some room and privacy. Didn't want to share everything with my partner if you get what I mean. And the shower was a private cubical but you step out stright into yr room, we were not a fan of this open living. Other than that the room was basic could of been cleaner as in dusty walls . Tv was very small and basic. And a member of staff actually walked into our room while we were in bed with the do not disturb sign on the door.
Doubtful we will be back.

Wonderful...From entering the hotel the attention to detail, aroma, the decoration, flower arrangements, everything was so welcoming. The front of house were great.
The room was open plan with full view of the bathroom.
Breakfast was amazing, with many options and if you ask, other items are available (hashbrowns, fried eggs). All staff were very accommodating.
We didn't have time on this occasion to use all the facilities at the hotel (steam room) on our next visit we will.
Free soft drink minibar is a welcoming addition.
Only a slight dislike is the location, ideally would love this hotel right next to Manchester Piccadilly Station.
Some paintwork on the walls of the room, they were chipped in a few places.

The location of the hotel is brilliant, we were only staying for one night to go to a gig at the Castlefield Bowl which is a 10 minute walk away which was perfect for us. There is parking 2 minutes away from the hotel again as massive bonus for us.
The hotel was immaculate, the staff were friendly and attentive and the room was spacious and very clean. Big comfy bed, toiletries, coffee tea and drinks were very sufficient in the room. The fridge was stocked with at least 6 cans of water and fizzy pop all free of charge which was a lovely touch. Over all very impressed and we will certainly be back.

The Hotel and facilities are excellent, and the staff really friendly and helpful. It was a great location for what we had planned in the city, and within walking distance of the main shopping centre.
We contacted the hotel in advance regarding parking and were given instructions to use the QPark car park adjacent, we were even given a 25% discount code. We booked parking, but upon leaving, the receipt wasn't accepted so had to pay an additional £21 to exit the car park on top of the £17 we initially paid.

Liked the location, the gym, and steam room.
They charge a whopping £30 PER DOG PER NIGHT extra which is extremely high. On Booking.com it indicates that the hotel is dog friendly, but no indication of the exorbitant charge. We would not have booked if we knew our booking would be £60 more for our two small dogs for the single night we booked.

This was a little surprise for me as I've never stayed in a Melia Hotel before. Everything about it was excellent from the style, the room, the service and the Gino D'Acampo restaurant (which was excellent with very friendly staff). Overall amazing value for money in a very nice hotel.
I had problems with the WiFi - which seems to be becoming a recurring problem in hotels with open networks.
