Friendly welcome, fun decor and clean accommodation. Tea and decaf coffee sachets in the room and easily restocked by going down to reception. Generally quiet neighbours as they came and went. Breakfast was good and food restocked quickly. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and kept checking in on us. Tables were cleared and cleaned quickly. Key drop makes check out easy
A backlog at the lifts at checking out time but stairs are near the lifts and easily accessible. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the wardrobe as stated. We would have liked another pillow - but too lazy to ring/ go down and get one.

It's a great location for the northern quarter, Piccadilly, centre. The staff were good and it was peaceful at night due to my window looking out to an internal courtyard. The bathroom seemed really new and the bed was big. There's lots of shops and restaurants around.
My reservation was for breakfast included but when I paid and asked where breakfast is they seemed to think I wasn't down for one. But they sorted it. There was a lot of noise outside my room by the elevator during the day but it was full for a concert. My sheets were marked, not dirty but marked. The breakfast was a little on the plane side. It was okay the price I paid was fair considering the concert at Etihad. I would say again.

Decent location
First room was next to a really loud air conditioning unit that would’ve kept us awake all night. Moved to a room exactly two floors up, still noticeable but not as bad. Only had one pillow each which was dirty under the case and looked very old. Nobody on reception to request more had to wait. Towels had seen better days too. Trying too hard to be quirky, the chair was a square shape with fake grass on it. No mirror except in the bathroom.

The location was handy for where I wanted to be and it was one of few hotels available when I booked several months ago.
There isn’t really a reception, just a trainee (who was very effective and polite) stood at a high plywood table in the middle of a busy area by the front door.
There was a strong toxic perfume smell through the public areas, clearly being pumped through the aircon system, this is not healthy and bad for many people. If I hadn’t had my payment taken so quickly on arrival (and if there were other hotels with space) I would have gone elsewhere.
The bathroom sink had one of those plugs that you can’t actually seal….. fine for shaving men who want running water, but what about those who want a basin of water?
