The property had a great location. The security of the hotel was really good as-well. The front door was locked after a certain time and we also liked that the lift could only be accessed with the room key.
Our room wasn’t cleaned everyday, they just threw towels on our unmade bed and left the old towels in the room. The room was also never vacuumed

The room was clean and the windows block out all the noise from the main street which was good.
Contacting reception has been a horrible experience. there is no phone in the room. there is a whatsapp number but nobody responded on it.
I forgot my fitbit in the hotel but still haven't been able to contact anyone to get in touch about it. The calls keep getting redirected to some AI voice. Ibis budget is like ryan air of hotels, they charge for every little thing and it is not a good experience to stay there.

Just the shower room- my partner slipped and I just think provide a bath mat regardless, i know there is a sign stating to ask for one if needed but I would recommend providing one for conversation

Staff were lovely, very helpful, welcoming, and friendly. Breakfast was great too, good selection and clean eating area. Bed was clean and comfortable, and block out blind works very well.
The building and room was shabby. Shower had some rust, peeling walls, blown MDF desk, chips and dings in the woodwork, and a burn mark on the window sill. One light switch didn't work. Toilet smelt bad like it hadn't been cleaned. Ceiling tiles and carpet in the corridoir were water stained, feels tired and due a refresh.

Nice bright and clean bedrooms.
Very cold room and quite noisy road outside. Breakfast wasnt great and the bed was so hard with only 1 pillow.
