Close to the venue we were attending a concert
Extremely unclean! Head house keeper who was so sweet and lovely came to our room personally to get it upto standard HOWEVER when she asked if she should clean more I declined because I feel she was already under pressure she’s an absolute goddess who deserves ALOT of recognition

good room, location, price
when checking in there were two girls. one was on the phone being pretty rude to someone who was obviously having a hard time finding the hotel on the way from the train station. i know people can be annoying but she could have handled that more professionally. really bad first impression. the girl checking me in didn’t really acknowledge me or give me any info other than my room number. it would have been really nice to know that loud work men were going to be working outside my room from 10am all the way to when i was checking out. so noisy and talking in such a vulgar manor. not the hotels fault but like i said, it would have been nice to know this would be happening when i checked in so being woke up by a drill would be less jarring.
