As a Scandinavian I enjoyed the continental breakfast and the facility felt very safe given the need to use a card to get to the stairs and elevator.
The room itself almost felt like a hospital room but worked its purpose all things considered. The main concern I had was the rare occurrence that it was difficult to get cold and lukewarm water in the shower. Most of the way of the temperature regulator was just hot water. At some point it went from hot to cold and then nothing in between.

Room was nice. Nice location. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Was abit disappointed with the breakfast. At £9 per person we were expecting a cooked English breakfast buffet and few continental things like cereal or croissant etc. only had cereal, croissants, egg, toast/bread, some meat, cheese and fruit and yogurt. Which was nice, just not worth the £9 per person

Nothing special. Below average.
Staff just do what they are told to do. No solutions offerred for additional requests. Family rooms for 3 person are shown on the Booking.com page and on the board just in front of the main enterence. But they said (and messaged) that all their rooms are for 2 person max and I need to pay for an extra room.

The room was clean and the windows block out all the noise from the main street which was good.
Contacting reception has been a horrible experience. there is no phone in the room. there is a whatsapp number but nobody responded on it.
I forgot my fitbit in the hotel but still haven't been able to contact anyone to get in touch about it. The calls keep getting redirected to some AI voice. Ibis budget is like ryan air of hotels, they charge for every little thing and it is not a good experience to stay there.

Location was good. I wanted to be near Piccadilly, and this was close enough. The room was sufficiently tidy and comfy, but nothing special.
The hotel was pretty loud and the room was tiny. But I did pay for the smallest and cheapest room, so can't complain too much

The shower was in the room despite advertising private shower, staff were rude the room was dirty and the stay was awful.
I took my sister and all it said we needed was a letter from the parent to say she could stay with which we brought. They nearly didnt let us have the room because we didnt bring parents ID with us.
Awful stay will not be going again.

Lovely location a short walk away from the train station and city centre. Very welcoming staff, clean room with a lovely view. Great place to stay.
The trains passing by are quite loud, but shutting the window helps a lot :)
