Location. Staff (everyone was excellent, friendly and two members had a great sense of humour!). Room had toilet separate to shower which we liked. Shower also had a door which doubled up as a privacy screen when opened out. Bed was comfortable enough.
Room was lacking comfort in terms of seating - the only available seat was a plastic (backless) stool.

We ask an extra pillow and the recepcionist in the night didn't want to give it to us. The room is very small and the staff (except the general manager) very distant and cold with guests.

Fantastic location, 20 min walk from co-op live, 10 mins walk from Piccadilly. Friendly staff and all the public areas were clean. Room was clean and the shower pressure was great, much better than other Manchester hotels I've stayed in. The AC worked well and the openable window was a bonus.
The "smart tv' only displays Freeview tv, fortunately I brought a hdmi adapter so I could plug in my iPad into the TV. Plug sockets to only one side of the big. The fittings in the room were worn but still usable and clean. The bed is slightly too firm for a side sleeper but fine for back sleeping.
