Not alot, the staff were pleasant and the actual building was fairly clean
The room was tiny, no images of the shower and toilet on the website when I booked so to walk in and have the shower in the room next to the bed, alongside the sink and the toilet in basically a cupboard. Well its safe to say we wasn't best pleased. There was 3 of us sharing a room, and to have 0 privacy wasnt ideal. I would have never booked if this was made clear on the website. The beds were clean but were so uncomfortable. I get budget but this felt like a hostel. Ive paid the same price elsewhere and had what I deem a "normal" hotel experience. Decided against the £8.50 each breakfast which was basically cereal and fruit, another overpriced basic.
We wasnt the only people not impressed as we heard on more than one occasion people walking in to their rooms and gasping at the washroom facilities and size of the rooms.
Won't be staying again, at a budget ibis or ibis in general.

They allow us to store our luggage in their luggage room, for the day after we check out. It was so helpful.
The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Three of us slept very sound.
Location is nice at the heart of Manchester, we can walk to the free bus station.
The shower room didn't have any place to hang towel or clothes, so plan accordingly with your roommates :D

Great location not far from Manchester Piccadilly train station. Quite rooms (even those facing the main road like mine was).
Friendly staff. Convenient and pretty good value for money.
There was a bit of a musky smell in the corridor and room.
Water pressure wasn't great, enough to have a shower just not the most powerful.

The location was central for where we wanted to visit so very good .didn't have breakfast but it looked fine with plenty of choice. Staff were very pleasant and helpful
Can't think of anything I didn't like apart from the lack of a kettle in the room
