The location was good and close to the canal walk. The breakfast was very good and the beds were comfy.
The toilet in our room constantly stank of urine even after flushing (as soon as opening toilet door).
We didn't have a bin in our room. I mentioned this to reception after our first night who said they would get housekeeping to put one in there but this was never done.
The shower was pretty weak (water pressure). I would not have been able to wash my long hair as it would have taken too long as the water pressure was so weak.

It was quiet and peaceful. Room temperature was good. The room and bathroom were clean. I like that there was microwave available for guests' use.
I didn't like that I had to buy tea tray separately. Imagine coming back from a marathon programme and there was no way we could get a cup of tea to drink and relax. I had to pay £3.50 for a tea tray. Annoying.
Some of the staff have attitude that borders on rudeness and condescending. Other staff were amazing, courteous, professional, friendly and helpful.

It was comfortable and it had many channels on the TV.
There wasn't a proper bathroom, the shower was too close to the bed. There was not enough space in the toilet area either. There was no hand-wash or enough cleaning products.

I was impressed by the clenliness of the hotel. I would return if I visit Manchester again.
I felt the shopping facilities were too restriction. There was only one supermarket to shop with.
