Lovely hotel. Absolutely loved the welcome and the valet parking was such a massive help.

Unique décor, friendly staff.
The shampoo felt cheap. Continental breakfast felt basic and for the price should have included more. The hotel also does not offer a gym. So it does not feel worth the expense. Only book it due to closeness to the office I visit.

Great attention to detail in the rooms
The renovation work I felt wasn’t advertised clearly and I was disappointed our special trip was greeted with this. And the only apology was 2 biscuits? I think is quite bad from such a high standard hotel

Shower was amazing; staff super helpful;
There was work ongoing at the hotel; we were unaware and no way would we have booked had we known; The bed was tiny supposed to be a superior double - not much bigger than my single! Still no email receipt. Behind curtains pretty unclean.

Wonderful
The room was spot on, perfectly clean and a big comfortable bed. The bathroom was also spotless and it had everything you'd need for a stay.
The only thing I could nit pick on would be not enough sugar for two cups of tea for people who like a sweet brew.

Extremely comfortable beds and very Cosy rooms. We had a very rainy day for one of our days during the stay so it was nice to have such a well designed Cosy room to cuddle up in.

Honestly this hotel was the best weekend away we have ever had the communication before we arrived the special touches were above and beyond. Big thank you to Kris, Emily & Spike. Excellent team. The hotel is spotless quirky n cool. Bar staff super friendly, we had a cocktail in our room made by the lovely Eddie, it was better than the margaritas we had recently in Mexico. Great guy

We have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions. We booked as a last minute get away and were welcomed with the usual first class service and more. The renovation works to the exterior are noted, and a cold glass of fizz on check in, plus a complimentary bottle in our room on arrival was a lovely touch.
Cocktails in club brass were fab as always, as was the service from the bar staff.
We stayed on the first floor on this occasion in one of the suites, and unfortunately it was very noisy from around 4am from the road noise. Building works were started quite early also so our luxury of a lie in was a non starter.
We have always had a great stay here and the road noise was never and issue on previous stays.
