Location and Room set up was simply amazing,
Air conditioning did not work on one of the warmest days of the year, and the fact that staff were aware of this problem with that particular room, yet nothing was done, for the price we paid, extremely poor service on that part, very disappointed

I felt the hotel lacked soul, the staff weren’t that friendly and helpful for a 5* hotel, the bar was empty and lacked atmosphere, I was not that impressed to be honest

Everything from the roof top bar to the beautiful linen on the beds. The prosecco, delicious cocktails and beautiful sparkling glasses
Work men painting the cupboards while we were having breakfast.
Check out at 11am!! Even the Premier Inn has a 12 noon check out.
Prices still the same even tho scaffolding around the building.

Really lovely room, and the bathroom has the most amazing rainfall shower and well stocked mini bar (water in there is free which is very handy). The bed was really comfortable, everything was immaculately clean, and the decor was gorgeous. The Bugle newspaper guide was a lovely touch, as were the biscuits in the room.
Staff were really friendly and polite, particularly the bar staff who were very chatty and personable.
Breakfast was lovely, and the team there were nice and handled everything with great professionalism - I liked that the cooked options were fresh to order.
The outside did have some scaffolding up for a renovation, but there was no noise and even the scaffolding had been decorated and lit so that the outside was easy to recognise and didn't look bad at all.
The roof garden was lovely, but the plants up there did need some tending to.
The breakfast area could do with having some butter on the buffet counter, and access to the toaster as opposed to having to ask the staff to cut and toast the bread - otherwise fabulous.

Loved everything about our stay! Every detail was perfect, from the hotel styling to the little details (like the biscuits in the room)! The staff were so lovely and welcoming. And the hotel SMELLS incredible!

A really lovely hotel. From our arrival (we used the car valet service. Well worth It!) to our departure, we felt very looked after. The reception when we arrived was friendly and professional. A quick explanation of where the facilities were regarding breakfast and a possible evening drink, and we were booked in. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Loved the decor. We stayed just the one night and enjoyed the full breakfast, which again was served promptly and cooked to perfection.
I would highly recommend Hotel Gotham, and we would return without any hesitation. Thank you.
