location. staff. loved the room. Had a January stay so room was cold and heat did not work. Night was ok under the covers but next day I asked for a heater and it made the room very comfortable

Lovely room - and the most comfortable bed. I had the best night's sleep for ages. Breakfast excellent. Bathroom very well supplied with toiletries etc. Even an umbrella in the closet.
I would have liked a bath - but I probably could have had one if I had asked. The shower though was amazing.

The vibe in Gotham is unmatched - it’s such a luxurious looking hotel.
The quality overall has gone severely downhill since being bought out. The prolonged scaffolding has produced what seems to be zero results as this property is still horrifyingly noisy (which both other guests now causing a lot of noise) and the noise outdoors being horrendous. The staff in the breakfast/food sectors are slow and while friendly, making quite big mistakes in terms of service.

The staff, the valet parking, the venue itself and the suite was everything and more!
We stopped in room 104 - The Harden Suite. Absolutely amazing. Really did exceed our expectations. The suite itself was huge. Freestanding bath was a great addition and the bed was unbelievably comfy. The decor and details were very impressive and created a truly unique experience
I would highly recommend the valet parking. Really takes all the stress out of finding a parking garage and also avoids a lengthy walk with your luggage in the elements. Fairly priced knowing your car is in a private carpark tucked away and taken and brought back to the front door ready when you are.
The breakfast was also delicious. Couldn't fault any part of it, from the service to the food itself.
Overall staying at the Gotham was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend to anyone. Everything about it as a package was incredible. We will definitely return! Maybe in warmer weather next time to make the most of the rooftop bar
Quite loud at night due to the location and period correct windows on the suite we were in (as great as it is being central) can hear a lot of the clubs and bars nearby. This wasn't too bad and didn't stop us getting to sleep at all. What did was a drunken soul bang outside the hotel at 4am in the morning screaming down his phone, laughing, crying and everything in-between for a good half an hour before he stumbled away into the night. Not the hotel's fault at all obviously but with it being an old building with old metal frame windows we could hear every detail which was a bit a bit of a dampener on an otherwise perfect trip.

We stayed in the Inner sanctum room and wow it was a gorgeous room! All the extras you could need including a well stocked mini fridge.
The bathroom was large and very clean.
Staff were very helpful, happy and polite.
We would definitely stay again!

The rooms were beautifully decorated and it smelled really nice. The mini bar had a lot of options too.
One of the members of staff (large man) on the desk when you walk in had a bit of an attitude and seemed quite judgemental of my partner.
There was also a lot of building work going on outside the hotel and the noise was loud and woke us very early both mornings. So unable to have a nice lie in on our trip away.
