Every staff member we encountered was excellent. Location was great, and the hotel looked really nice.

Very odd reception, small and non welcoming.
5 star ? Dont think so.
No welcome drink, and you could spend all day waiting for the lift.
Room was cramped and cast iron radiator next to the bed that was great for walking into in the middle of the night

Roof top bar is amazing, loved the room (we had a suite) very clean. Staff lovely. We are returning customers and can’t wait to come back. Brilliant location and quiet.

The terraced bars were very nice. But be prepared to be charged a service charge on every purchase. The location was great. Unfortunately, the room was a massive let down.
Room: Paid £420, ish and it was a small room, about size of a Premier Inn room. The USP, Feature wall, was broken, 1 x can of water, ordered prosecco to the room before arrival and it was not in the room, 2 x tea bags and 4 sachets of sugar. This is not a 5 star [or even 4 star] hotel.

The rooms are on another level. Stylish, bold, and immaculately designed — a proper blend of luxury and character. Comfortable bed, flawless lighting, and attention to detail that most places completely miss.
The bathroom? High-end, modern, and spotless. Exactly what you expect when you’re paying for quality — and here, they actually deliver.
The restaurant and lounge area are equally impressive. Bright, relaxed, and well thought out — perfect balance between premium feel and comfort. You can sit there for hours without wanting to leave.
What really stands out is consistency. Every space — from public areas to private rooms — is executed properly. No weak links.

Really nice hotel with lovely staff especially in check in and in both restaurants. Food was great and the roof terrace was lovely as was a sunny day and not to busy.
The room was ok not as spacious or well planned as we would have expected and not really value for moneys. Was badly designed leaving little room for moving about and sofas weren't great. Bed and pillows weren't the comfiest either tbh.
