Bright and welcoming. Easy check in. Clean, quiet comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Well-priced breakfast and I'm glad there was no 'mood music' at breakfast - many hotels have this and it's usually too loud for early morning.
I'd originally booked a twin room as travelling with my son but ended up on my own and was given a double (though I didn't request it and probably could have changed it easily to a twin if needed).

The location is excellent, just a 2–3 minute walk from the city center. The room size is ideal for families. The children were able to stay very comfortably in their own beds. The breakfast exceeded my expectations.
First of all, I would like to point out that the reception staff were very rude. They neither smiled nor answered questions properly. I called reception from the room to request slippers (there were four of us staying in the room but only two pairs provided), and I was told that there would be a charge of £2.5 per pair. However, when I coincidentally saw a housekeeping staff member and asked them, they brought the slippers without any charge, which clearly shows that this information was incorrect.
In addition, the shower tray drained very slowly. As a result, when taking a shower, the water would rise up to ankle level. Although we reported this issue on the first day, it was only fixed on the day of our departure.
Moreover, the room temperature was either too cold or too hot—there was no comfortable middle ground. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again.

Oh dear, oh dear - the hotel advertises a car park bot doesnt say it isc not theirs. Consequently we spent ages looking for a non existent car park with all the frustrations that entailed. That is a rather duplicitous thing to do.
