Very clean and well maintained hotel.
Spectacularly effective air conditioning which was extremely welcome during the recent heatwave.
It made for good nights sleep.
Minor plumbing problem in room 420. The toilet cistern kept ‘filling’ each time after it was flushed as there was a slight and constant leak into the toilet. Probably due to a slightly misaligned valve. I resolved the situation by manipulating the flushing buttons a few times after each flush. It was a minor issue and easily resolved by me so I didn’t report it at the time, however, something to ask your maintenance team to have a look at.

Location was good.
There was a long queue for breakfast, as the only food out in the hot section was tomatoes and scrambled eggs.The tables were so close together you couldn’t get through to the only seats left, the stools at the window. The tables needed cleaning and crockery clearing.

Position was ideal for the Arena & amenities nearby are very good. The room was clean & tidy.
The breakfast was tasty, the queues weren’t good & the wait for things as they ran out quickly, again, wasn’t great but the staff tried their best.
The bed was a double but seemed smaller! We booked a city view unfortunately we were overlooking a building site!
