Reception staff were very good, professional and extremely helpful. Staff in the breakfast room were excellent, it was extremely busy but they still kept ahead on clearing tables and getting people seated. Good supply of foods available.
We had an issue with one of our beds and also the room phone was not working so we had our room changed. The staff could not have been more helpful. The WIFI was fantastic.
The beds weren’t all that comfortable. Was pleased I went by train as there are no car parking facilities.

Great location, blackout curtains meant a good night sleep. Whole place, including my room, was very clean. Nice bathroom with big shower cubicle and good shower pressure. Mattress a bit soft, but very comfortable all the same. Pillows and bedding all good. Lots of choice at breakfast. Great location in the heart of Manchester, on a pedestrianised street. I went mid-week and was not troubled by noise.
Apart from the bathroom, which looked like it has been re-done recently, the decor in the room looked tired - for example the desk had marks and chips on it. But did not really detract from all the positives.
Also, description says the room is soundproofed and I am not sure that is true? I could hear people in the corridor, and police sirens from a couple of streets away - albeit faintly and not loud enough to bother me. I am a light sleeper and was not woken by any noise at night, so not a major issue really. Just made me wonder about the soundproofing description

The breakfast was very adequate, nothing too crazy but certainly was good enough to cater for all needs. As I said, not gourmet necessarily but very good for the quality/cost ratio. Would definitely not skip it.
The staff were also exceptionally accommodating, really pleased with everybody we interacted with.
