Comfortable room and a good breakfast. Reception staff were courteous and helpful in responding to requests for assistance. I also appreciated being able to leave my luggage in safe custody during the day following check-out.
After the first night there was a repetitive knocking sound, apparently from the plumbing in my bathroom. I reported it, but too late in the evening, so could not benefit from any fix of the problem after checking out the next morning. Also, I had to change the swipe key to my bedroom door twice in the first 24 hours (although only a minor inconvenience).

Great location, very central. Lovely staff. Only point, breakfast items could have been a bit warmer and an over zealous member of staff trying to clear breakfast mugs/plates etc before finishing! (and was well within breakfast times). Other than that a great place to stay in Manchester
The reception area is on the lower floor, so had to take luggage down a staircase to check in. As room card required to operate lift, so couldn't do that until checked in. Also an over zealous member of staff clearing breakfast dishes. Had got a cup of tea first and left on table while went to get food items. Returned and full cup of tea had been removed. Also same member of staff rushing to try and remove cups/plates before finishing!

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Considering we were on the main road there wasn’t much noise from our bedroom
Ideal if you want to visit the theatre. Felt safe walking around in the evening as close to the university and there are campus security around
Breakfast was a ‘rubbery’ but it was ok. The staff ensured the food was stocked up.
Stains on our bedroom carpet
Not a lot of places to go and eat, plenty of take-away shops but a bit of a walk if you want to sit and eat.
