Very nice room with an excellent bathroom. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was great for what I wanted to do.
Minor issue - there is no way that you can use the stairs to access the main entrance; you have to go down to the floor below and then walk up.

Staff were pleasant and accommodating.
Shower flooded meaning can’t use for duration I’d like,
Keys not working in the lifts, lifts being slow/small.
Quality of breakfast was poor.
No usb c or older usb plug sockets (who carries a full plug anywhere anymore?) had to charge via my laptop.
No iron /ironing board in the room as standard.

I travelled for work so the location was great, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Having breakfast included was great value for money and I enjoyed this at my stay, restaurant wasn't too busy and I was seated with ease. I needed an iron and staff very prompt to help and very pleasant.
I was given an accessible room so I didn't really like the bathroom. The shower felt too big and open and the WC was a bit too high up for me to use comfortably

my room had no toilet roll whe i arrived , the kettle was missing and the door handle to the bathrooom was broken and came off in my hand after taking a shower

My room was clean and comfortable. Quilt was just adequate for warmth, no extra bedding available, but heating came on about 6 and solved that problem. Shower excellent. Towels a bit frayed, but clean and smelled fresh. Cumberland sausages worth a special mention!
Breakfast was rather haphazard. Problems keeping coffee machines running, and juice dispenser gave up and only produced water. Fried tomatoes only just qualified under trades description act - barely seen a frying pan. But all in all, OK.
Chairs in the foyer were filthy - stained upholstery. Carpets likewise. Fortunately, everywhere else was OK. I guess with punters wandering in off the streets, difficult to keep clean.

Wonderful shower.
Great location, close to everything you would need like public transport, shops, food etc
Poor breakfast options for those who don't eat meat, eggs, dairy products. No fresh vegetables, at least tomatoes or cucumbers

Staff were great - probably the best bit. Location great for finish of marathon. Breakfast was delicious. Shower and bed perfect.
The room was clean but a little tired - old stains on carpet and walls. It was quite expensive but I guess because it was marathon weekend.

Breakfast was good, maybe could have done with more fruit options.
Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the noise from local amenities on the Saturday night kept us awake almost all night (ahead of running a marathon).
The pricing paid in total for 2 nights for the quality of facilities was not justifiable and very disappointing.

The location is great and the staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. If you need to stay within walking distance of the city and don’t mind a budget hotel this is perfect. Parking also available nearby at a discounted rate which is a bonus. An average buffet style cooked breakfast with coffee machines, don’t expect anything fancy but does the job.
Breakfast was a little on the cold side with only one coffee machine operating as one was out of order and they had ran out of coffee beans for the other. There were also only two high chairs available at breakfast which caused a slight issue as there were more than 2 baby/toddlers staying in the hotel.
We had requested a cot for our room but was not in our room on arrival however one was brought up when we asked on site (we did have to clean it as it was dirty and slightly stained on the mesh). Unfortunately we were allocated one of the end rooms and therefore was smaller than the others (our friends were also staying here and their rooms were bigger with a sofa bed) and having the cot up didn’t leave us with much walking room.
Our room didn’t feel clean as there were lots of stains on bed/chair/carpet etc but bathroom was very clean.
There are only two small lifts available across all 10 floors so you can be waiting up to 10minutes at a time.
