This Holiday Inn Express is excellent and represents first class value including breakfast. Very clean comfortable and all you need for a break in Manchester. On a par with any 5 star hotel at considerably lower cost.

The property was perfect in location for us as we were going to the Palace theatre. It was a cold rainy day and the rooms felt warm and comfortable.

The only hotel in 2026 without a smart TV!
I have stayed in many Holiday Inns over the years, but I have never come across a mattress like the one in Room 104. It was extremely uncomfortable—very springy, and you could actually feel the springs through it. I stayed with my child, and we both kept rolling into the middle because there was a dip or “hole” in the mattress. It made for a very poor night’s sleep.

Everything needed was there - good selection. Clean and tidy due to efficient staff.Good selection.
Maybe some cutlery suitable for smaller children otherwise couldn't find fault
