The shower drain was clogged, reported it to staff but no one came to sort it out.

The location for the marathon was ideal.
But Saturday night in Manchester is noisy and you could hear a lot of noise from our room
The foldout bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were not great.
The TV didn't turn off with the remote which meant having to power off at the plug every night.
I booked the room for 2 adults to 2 kids but we only were given 3 large towels.

Great location, everything i needed was 5 minutes walk. Great sized room and everything i needed was available from reception too. Awesome view out of the window too.
Seemed a little grubby in areas of the room like the carpet but that's pretty standard for most hotels

Bed were comfortable, hotel was clean, staff were ok. Breakfast was not the best. The location is the main bonus for here in Manchester. We stayed 1 night & 1 night in Holiday Inn in Liverpool. Liverpool was by far better in cleanliness, friendliness, facilities & breakfast.. The teabags in the room were soaking wet, so couldn't use them. Not sure if room service had put the milk sachets in the same compartment as the teabags & 1 had leaked??...
The breakfast was very bland n by far I've had better elsewhere. Staff were ok, but not as friendly & helpful as other hotels I've stayed at.

It was near the palace theatre.
It was secure.
The breakfast would suited everyone.
The room was great as i needed a seat in the shower It was great. The loo was taller too which was better for me.
The bed was comfy.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
