Great location for watching mamma Mia at the palace theatre.
They forgot to put a kettle in the room after we reminded them. Bar wasn't open late as not enough staff. Would still stay there again though.

Everything was great except one thing.
The shower drains need to be checked as I found a cup! I removed it and unblocked the wet room.
I did inform the staff who apologised.
However I would have been offered some sort of discount, however I wasn't a member, which I think is very unfair as standards should be kept the same regardless of member status or not.

Friendly, polite, professional staff. I felt comfortable staying here. Good security. Nice breakfast, plenty of options. Pizza was fine. Comfy pillows. Big shower. Nice bathrooms.
Remote control for TV was filthy. Had to clean it myself. This is something I wouldn't have usually noticed but it was full of dust and sticky between buttons.

Great location, nice, lovely friendly staff.
Sadly not up to the high standard of a month ago when it was almost faultless. The carpet wasn't very clean in our room. Bits of fluff and old m & m sweets found beside an old uncomfortable made up sofa bed. Dirty base under removable kettle. Amenities in bathroom not checked for efficiency - shower leaking on to floor where about 1/2 inch of rubber edging missing off bottom of door. Also unable to use wash basin to wash face as sink stopper wouldn't hold water in regardless of setting. Room 402. Didn't get to report to staff as rushing to railway station due to change in plans.
Husband went for early breakfast. This time the food was lacking - hash browns and sausages seemed dry. Baked beans had a skin on top. Varied selection of items though. Maybe needed closer eye by restaurant staff on this occasion. If price is right we would visit again in the hope this experience was a one off. Thank you.

The location was good and the staff were very, very funny
Because of it being in the city centre attracts all sorts of people very noisy guests I know the Hotel cannot stop that they did try to very swiftly but unfortunately they always continued wasn’t the best day only because of this reason

Bus stop right outside the door, very quiet of an evening.
The mattress wasn't to our liking but that's a personal thing anyway.
