Staff did not ask how stay was or to welcome any feedback at checkout. Heating does not work, shower makes a lot of noise when in use and not enough shampoo given

Friendly reception staff. Good location within city centre. Discount code for NCP overnight parking.
For £164 for a room bought at last minute (they had 6 more rooms available) would have expected lower rate.
For this price the room needs a new carpet or at least a deep steam clean. The taps in bathroom are modern but totally impractical if you have any joint issue in hands such as arthritis.
The decor in room was awful! Don’t use this designer again! Looked like an art graduate had got his/her first commission!
The Mojito cocktail in bar was one of the worst I have had. Tasted better ones in a can from the supermarket! Bar manager swooped on me as soon as I got to the bar asking if she could help me. It didn’t feel helpful- I think if I was wearing a sparkly cocktail dress rather than my Gortex jacket &,jeans I would have got a different reaction

Was refused check in due too rooms full but was told too leave the hotel rather than being helped and advised by the hotel manager on shift
My hotel booking was confirmed by the hotel only a few hours before I was due too arrive I even sent a message saying I am due too check in at 1130/12 as my train arrives from london at 1120 and this was all confirmed- when I went too check in I was comforted by a rude hotel manager who refused to let me sit in the hotel lobby too try and arrange another hotel being even though it's his legal duty too help me after the hotel confirmed by booking
That that night I had too stay awake all night walking the streets of manchester as I was unable too book another hotel due to the crazy time they refused check in
I had all required documentation- was visiting for the man united vs arsenal match
I hope booking .com can help me with making a formal complaint about the hotel as the service I received was the worst I ever have
