The hotel itself is nice, great location, great breakfast.
I was given a delux queen room on the 15th floor. As soon as you walk out of the lift it smells musty. The room itself wasn’t too bad, but a bit tired. I left the Aircon on in the evening as the room was very hot due to the large glass windows. Upon returning the AC had done nothing. The room was boiling and it smelt damp.
I was moved to a room on the 16th floor which was better. But doing so at 11pm was disruptive. I can’t understand why they are putting people in damp rolls with broken Aircon.

The location
Reception staff did not look professional. Room needed to be spruced up. Not what you expect from a Hilton. I inadvertently booked a wheelchair access room and despite being 2 able bodied people, we were not offered an alternative room.

Big hotel in a location great for shopping, nightlife, sightseeing & transport links.
Had to ask to have our room cleaned as it still wasn't done by 4pm

We had a great stay, staff were very good and it was very close to where we where going to the gig
We felt that the rooms we stayed in could have done with updating
