Easy access from airport via train and a short walk. Handy for city centre sight seeing and entertainment. All staff were polite, cheerful, and helpful. 23rd floor bar was an expensive experience but worth the visit. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, food was hot and plentiful. Even with one of the 3 lifts out of order the lift service was swift. Beds were clean and comfy. Room was serviced mid stay and kept clean. En suite very good with lashings of hot water.
Room 912 on 9th floor was dated and a bit shabby, Definitely needed a complete makeover, the corridor carpets had become worn and ruffled, definitely a trip hazard.

Cloud23 last entry was 9.15 and main bar shut at 10.45. Would be good if both opened a little bit later as I had late work events so vouldnt get back to hotel until late

The location was great. The staff were friendly. The view.
The room was very dated. Couldn’t control the heating and with the sun beaming in the full length window it was extremely hot. The chair in the rooms was broken and kept rocking off the stand. There was only one bath towel in the room. There were no robes or slippers so getting to the pool was difficult. Mattress had a massive crater in the middle.

Location. Views.
Hotel is tired. We checked in at 7pm and it was busy. A lot drunk people accessing the rooftop bar. Room service menu very limited. Poor. Ended up with uber eats! Disappointed. I went to the bar for a drink. Shabby. Bar staff. Including some “important” people in suits and ties didn’t acknowledge me. I ended up waited over 5 mins at the bar - ignored. The place is not all that. Views are great. Over rated and overcharged. I will be in Manchester regularly for family reasons from now on, not my future choice.
