In a nice area and transportation was right around the corner to go into Manchester

The Room on the bottom floor with the ensuit is by far the best room, the room was clean facilities were in good condition and the staff were freindly - really easy check in process too , always say here when I come to Manchester.

The room was so cold although a mini heater was provided the following day after confronting the staff of the 1st night experience.
The idea of paying for WiFi when it could have been included to the bill. Again, the idea that the reception needs to be consulted to put on the heater and knowing fully well I was staying at the topmost floor and having to come down to the reception four times before a mini heater was provided.

To say I only paid £40 per night for an upgraded double room, the facilities were so good for the money I spent. Staff were very lovely
I had to complain a couple times about things being broken in the room; TV, bathroom light, wardrobe, etc. Pretty much everything was fixed within the day I reported it, but I still shouldn’t be paying for a room where things don’t work. Also had to deal with quite a bit of noise from other guests

Despite booking for 3 days, the facility insisted extra £50 deposit on arrival before allowing me to check in.
As I patiently waited for the refund of my extra £50 deposit after the 5 days they assured, they accused me of allowing visitors into my room against their policy. Meanwhile this accusation is completely false since no one visited my room throughout my entire stay beside a friend who only met me at the reception for less than 30 minutes. And till date not a single pound has been refunded.

The staff were friendly, and to have the option of secure parking so close to Manchester city centre for only 12 quid is a bargain. The room was clean. I was quite comfortable in the bed, although my wife found it very uncomfortable. Can't fault the cost - very reasonable price so close to the city centre.
The main issue was the noise - we were in room 2 (which I think is below reception), so we had constant stomping around above ours heads - plus doors slamming - until past midnight, and they started again around 6am.

Room was dirty, wallpaper peeling from walls , plastering not painted or covered, floors and walls were dirty and tv didn't work. On arrival the receptionist asked if my ID (im clearly a woman) was my male partner.
