Hotels are easy to use no faff. Clean
I was out in a room right above a generator used to power the kitchens. On the bedside table was a set of earplugs 'free to use '
I set off thinking I could block out the noise and to an extent I could, but the vibration was low and ran through the room continuously just like the noise. As it got later and later and I got more and more tired I kept trying to beat it and sleep deprivation was bad. I didn't want to ask to change rooms at 1-2:00 in the morning as that would add stress to an already bad situation. I stuck it out, probably not really thinking straight because of the deprived sleep and finally fell asleep some time shortly after 3 am. Alarm set for 6:30 I was up and away with three and half hours of very broken sleep and a bad head.
I told the staff in the morning and they apologised and explained the room. If they know....why not turn it into a store room !! Crazy how they expect it to be acceptable. I should have kicked up a fuss earlier but I'm really not that person. Perhaps that's what they rely on to make an extra few quid per night.
A bad experience in an otherwise ok hotel. But I would not go back there.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and as a testament to the hotel a few of them have been there for a number of years.
Breakfast was good, with a good selection of food.
The blackout curtains are very effective.
Could do with a plug socket/USB port on both sides of the bed(s) and a mirror where the chair and table/desk surface is.

My LAPTOP got STOLEN at this place when I kept it at the storage room NEXT TO THE RECEPTION
How does something get stolen under your watch and you don’t do anything about it
I understand things are left their under owners desecration but how does something get stolen in a room NEXT TO THE RECEPTION and you don’t do anything about it I’m convinced the staff had everything to do with it. Never coming back again.

From the minute we walked in, we were impressed. We are immediately greeted by the receptionist who was called Megan i believe and she couldn't be more helpful. She helped guide us on the best way to get into the city centre which was great. We had two rooms booked but were a person less and Megan and Melanie were so kind to say we could cancel one of the rooms which no charge, saving us a lot of money when the extra room was not needed. We were early for check in and explained we would not be back until 8ish and they said they would hand over the changes and if we had any issues either ine if them could be contacted despite finishing at 3pm.
The room was clean and the beds comfy.
Breakfast was available and part of the booking, it was easy and there was plenty of choice.
Cannot fault this hotel at all.
Someone had been sick in the sink of the female toilets but we had been in prior to this and they were clean so do not fault the hotel in any way for this situation as it was unlikely they were aware.

Ease at which you check in and out.Staff receptive and warm.
Receptionist Biata was amazing and supportive..I forgot I am an IHG member and she checked using my address and email and on that basis I was afforded free early check in. Marvellous!

Staff were exceptional and very helpful / friendly. Checking in was quick and smooth, sorted out our car parking fast. Breakfast had a huge variety of options from hot breakfast, to sandwiches, to toast spreads, to cereals and granola, to yoghurts, fresh fruit and bakery goods.
Lots of attention to detail and making you feel valued. There was stickers in the bathroom saying if you'd forgot toiletries the hotel would happily provide them which is thoughtful. You get a kettle with tea and coffee. Not sure if the bathroom tap is drinking water as wasn't any signs.
The lift feels unsafe, Everytime we used it we were nervous and thought it'd go wrong. It jumps up and down a lot, opens whilst moving, seems very flimsy or on its last legs.
The hallways smell a bit musty but it comes with a lot of chain hotels really, might be the heating. The rooms didn't have the smell, they smelt clean.
