Lovely old house, big rooms, high ceilings. Service excellent, everyone very polite and helpful.
The stairs! Sadly we had a room on the second floor ( but grateful to get a room as they were very busy) and lifts aren’t possible in buildings like this.

Nice vibe, attractive building, pleasant staff, excellent location. Good breakfast, but maybe an option for toast? Nice lounge and bar - when told no draught beer, given directions to local pub which was appreciated.
