Disappointing
It was handy for the city centre and clean
No tea making facilities Very, very basic which is fine but the cost was excessive. If it was £90 a night and not over £160 where there was no breakfast then it would have been OK. It was expensive for a basic hotel

Stayed for one night before an appointment the next day. It is a basic place but perfectly nice. My room was tiny but totally fine for me for one night. I like the old building and the bare brick walls. The room had a nice city view. Location is great for Piccadilly. Suitable for lone female traveller although someone did try my door handle, luckily it was locked. Remember to lock your doors people! Price was decent for midweek although I wouldnt want to pay more, the price shoots up at the weekend.
Nothing, it is what it is, not fancy but fine for a short stay.

Location was decent right the middle of town. Bathroom was clean and stocked on soap/towels, lights were bright and TV worked.
The bed and pillows were very thin and firm, no softness. The walls were too thin and you can hear everything that's happening in the corridor and next door. Exact same issue for the window, everything outside comes through the glass as well as the cold. AC/Heater barely worked and was very loud, even when idle it made a noise throughout the night. There was dust covering the vents/AC, there's a bright flashing light directly above the bed which is probably the smoke detector. Although not a feature of the room it felt very basic as there was no table/chair/kettle, just a bed and bathroom. Staff was away from the front desk for ten minutes with a long line at the entrance. I want a refund.

Location
Claustrophobic room size, loud noise, rude check in lady.
Pictures does not really show how small the room is. Be aware that if you are taller than 6ft or large size, you will struggle to stay in the room. For the price paid, it is better to go for a more well known hotel brand.
If the price matched the local hostel prices then I understand but paying Hilton prices for an Easy Hotel is too much.

Asked for two rooms together , one was on the third floor the other in the basement.. . Cleaning staff banging and shouting at 9am , the bed was rock hard. Could hear every person walk past the outside window and the door . No sleep at all . Room is so small you are unable to walk around the bed with out falling over . Two hangers for clothes no storage space. Will not be staying again

The staff were very pleasant, polite and helpful
Mainly the price, I was aware it's a budget hotel, but £221 for one night was a rip off.. there was very little availability at the time in Manchester and had to go ahead with the booking and pay this extortionate price, I'm guessing this price was because of the football matches
