Pleasantly surprised by the hotel given how little we paid. The place was clean, comfortable and well located and I would stay again.
Annoying to have to pay extra for hot water, leaving your bags etc. although room was very cheap so can't really complain. And a shame staff didn't tell us about the 10% discount at the cafe over the road where we had breakfast until after we had eaten there but otherwise all good.

People were nice and informative
The bathrooms being completely see through is unfortunate. The bed was incredibly noisy and rock solid. The A/C unit DESPERATELY needs a clean. When it was turned on it started spitting out black mould chunks directly onto the floor and bed. Disgusting. The drink facilities on the ground floor were confusing and bare. The rooms seem to be shoddily cut thin walls crammed into a hall as many times as possible

The location was perfect, in the middle of the Northern Quarter, not far from Piccadilly train station. The room was basic but clean and comfortable.
There could have been a better selection of vending machines given that there's no restaurant. The only vending machine that sold food was for chocolate, which isn't my idea of a good breakfast ;-) It would have been nice to have a fan in the bathroom too.

Nice location room inside looked nice
The room was so small it was difficult to walk around the bed. There is no sound insulation and I could hear everything from people leaving rooms, talking, making noise etc, making sleep difficult

The bed was comfy, and it had a shower That's about it and clean.
It looked like a prison cell lol. Very small and closed in. Also the TV was impossible to connect to, so we ended up with just radio to listen to. Also the rooms are NOT soundproof, despite how they were advertised... Trust.

Great location. Easy check in/ out.
When asking to store luggage they will literally leave this out at the front desk, not away in a locked cupboard. In a busy city like Manchester I feel as though this is not safe, theft is very common. We asked for our luggage back not long after and carried it around the city instead.

Right in the centre so close to all the shops and train station.
No fridge, no water or kettle, coffee machine wasn’t working either and only gave 1 towel when the room was booked for 2 people and the glass door for the bathroom was hanging off the hinges.
