The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Piccadilly station. The staff were friendly, and the room itself was clean.
Broken Lift: Upon arrival, we were told the lift was broken and had to carry our luggage up to the 4th floor via very awkward stairs. Looking at older reviews, this lift has been out of service since at least June 9th. The hotel's standard response to these complaints seems to be a generic apology with no actual intention to fix it.
The Bathroom: The bathroom door didn't close properly and had no lock. It was so cramped you practically had to step straight from the shower onto the toilet, and the water pressure was awful.
Room Layout and Amenities: While I understand it’s a budget hotel and expected a small room, the layout was incredibly impractical. Moving from one side of the bed to the other was a struggle. There was nowhere to put our things, not even a basic chair or a £20 small table.
Comfort: The walls were paper-thin (you can hear everything from the neighbors), the windows don’t open, and the air conditioning kept shutting off automatically.
