The rooms were in an old conversion and the noise insulation between floors was poor. Combined this with squeaky floor boards and the people above me walking around in the small-wee hours and you get an interrupted nights sleep.

Very central and surprisingly fairly quiet at night
When we arrived and checked in they assigned us to our room. We went to the room and SOMEONE WAS ALREADY IN THE ROOM! Granted reception gave us a new room but surely they knew someone was already in that room? Room was “ground floor with window” but when booking this I didn’t realise it was ground floor to the basement! The window was a high window with a blind but had to shut it straight away as pedestrians walking by can look into the rooms. I think for the size of the room and amenities to the room, it is a bit overpriced.
