Very nice hotel, great location. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and they was a lot of choice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointing
Room and facilities were pleasant. Very well located hotel close to the main train station. Very easy to find and get around. Just a few minutes from the Gardens and main shopping districts.
Staff on checkin were atrocious. The hotel had been booked on behalf of my partner who was rudely challenged when trying to check in. The simple issue was that they needed my partners name on the booking and not me who originally booked, rather than explaining this they made it seem as if my partner and her mum would be unable to stay the night because I was not present. This was not only embarrasing for my partner and her mum but also to the business where we've had many nights and stays.
Security / Damage deposit was demanded which is quite unusual, however it does state this on the booking information. I still find it strange, but clearly they get alot of problems.
Other members of staff were however friendly and helpful, but the stand-off attitude of Elena on the front desk was certainly not expected, or appropriate for such an established brand.
Whilst not the hotels problem, the surrounding area is heavily built up, and attracts a range of people. Lots of illegal behaviour and drug use, very little enforcement or policing present in Manchester. Do NOT walk alone at night.

It was very clean and the bedding was very good quality and bed very comfortable. The 12 o’clock check out was really useful saved us rushing. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices

Always stay here when visiting Manchester. Ideally located, especially if travelling by train. Rooms are great, staff friendly and helpful and everything in the city is easily accessible by foot, taxi or public transport.
Bar prices are not cheap!

Room very quiet but near the lifts. Lifts were very efficient. The room was well designed with an excellent modern shower. Manchester Piccadilly station was only 3 minutes walk.
The bathroom door is spring loaded, and there was no way to keep the door open apart from jamming it with some thick paper. A hook or wedge would have been useful.
