Pleasant
Gave me a room in the attic area loads of stairs and heating poor. I was early afternoon arrival so could have given a better room eventually did! Not the best! Dinner horrid poor duck with uncooked noodles which they said was fine but v unappetising. Some staff lively but early reception did not see or consider I was finding difficulty getting upstairs.
I said I had Osteo. Earlier in day but took no notice and carried on walking climbing upstairs.

Very Good
Beautiful property, with interesting architectural features, close to the high street. Side facing room was quiet.
Expensive room rate with no breakfast included. Breakfast offered at additional cost but also very expensive. Limited tea and coffee options in room, coffee machine in room but not quality coffee.

Very nice breakfast. Good choice of food. Missed having a bowl of mixed berries which had been provided on an earlier stay.

Location is great and place reasonably up together considering size and age of property
Agree with other comments regarding being expensive considering breakfast not being included in Booking.com reservation (overlooked by me, but presented in a way that thought it was included) - breakfast was expensive add on especially considering all the great choices in Didsbury around corner. Also, other little things like only one person covering reception & bar so had to wait for drinks to be served while dealing with reception queries.

Stayed a few times here and always feel welcome, sleep well and love the location. Plenty of parking. Free upgrade on this occasion which was gratefully accepted

The standard doubles are located over the three floors of didsbury house. these are our smaller rooms and vary in shape and size from 170 – 260 sq ft.
all bedrooms have private bathrooms, most have a deep double ended bathtub roomy enough for two with overhead monsoon shower, some have walk-in monsoon showers only, all with bramley toiletries included. booking direct with the hotel will prioritize the room of your choice.
